I like how that article goes on later to say something like, "jones is expected to stay committed to Mississippi state."
Why do the dummies at the CL almost always have to say stuff like that about one of our commits that is doing well? I mean the Jones has nothing but great things to say about us in the article.

Because he is a reporter. It's his job, and he's talking about a high school recruit. That's something that people wonder about. I guess you think that the CL is out to get us and Brandon Marcello hates our guts?

Nate Willis (3* 89) out of Arizona Western CC just de-committed from USF.
He named K State, Arizona State, and Miss. State as his leaders.
I know spots are tight, but I feel like it won't hurt to bring in a second JUCO DB (including Cox). I'm not so sure Calhoun will be ready next year, and that will allow Cox to play safety while Willis plays the other CB.

Yeah, I know it's his job, slick. However, Jones clearly states in the article that he loves MSU. Furthermore, jones has never given any inclination that he has looked any where else. It isnt like he said,"I'm committed but still looking." It would be different for someone like Kailo that has openly said they are going to check out games at other schools. I believe there is a huge difference.
I don't think Marcello is out to get us, but he sure doesn't throw us any bones ever. 90% of what he says is loaded and negative.

Unrelated but with Alabama signing another RB today look out for the Ashton Shumpert recruitment to get pretty one sided, looks really good for the good guys.

I wouldn't say no effect, the kid wants to play RB and that committment seals the deal that he won't get that chance there. I work with his god mother in Starkville and she has been saying its between us and Bama for a month now.

I thought Bama was recruiting Shump as a LB/S prospect? Seems to be some thought among Bama fans that Henry could end up at LB.

It depends on how we close out, right now I think it is Cord, Moore has had a really slow start this season from what I have heard.

Cord is without question our most valuable commit up to this point. We must sign a top QB in this class. We have zero depth there right now. Assuming we get him, it should be ideal. He will redshirt, back up Dak, then start by his Junior year.

Don't know if this needs to be here but we have new basketball commit from Shelton State CC in Alabama named Travis Daniels. Scout lists him as a 6'8 205 SG.

I just watched the Kent Flowers video. He is more aggressive and athletic than our other OL recruits but can't move as much weight. He might end up being the best one after some Balis made workouts.

Does anyone think we are gonna get Josh Dobbs? He was at the last home game and will be at Tennessee game. His mom favors him playing at State more than Arizona.
