I didn't really no how these young guys were going to react going into Bud Walton tonight, but I liked what I saw. It was an insanely sloppy game all around. 3 straight home games coming up for them to get things going again.

I don't know why you say "us", but I don't know your background. Kentucky looked good, though.

Good game, Cats. The odds of a dunk like that given the circumstances are probably pretty thin. I'm happy as F it happened though, I was one worried SOB.

Grew up a huge UK fan. It's all good.

It still amazes me how Arkansas can't seem to take their play at home on the road.

Yeah, I didn't really expect to win last night going in. This team continues to struggle in fundamentals, FT shooting and defense. The end of the game was a classic rookie mistake.
Three guys watching the ball, no one guarding anyone. This team has a ton of talent, but they don't seem to be a very good "team".

The big difference for me is the things they mess up on are all fixable. I didn't feel like that at times last year.

Willie fouling out really hurt them last night defensively. Plus Aaron Harrison and Julius Randle playing most of the 4th and OT with 4 made things difficult.

Oh and there is this.

Cats now 7-7 all time in games worked by Roger Ayers, 4 straight Ls, opponents with 142 free throws and Calipari with 3 techs. #FWIW

Kentucky needs a few close losses. Better to do it now than later.

Agree. The beauty of men's BB is there actually is a tournament. A few losses might build character, but as I have said, poor FT shooting and lackluster D will get them an early exit. Only time will tell.

At this point, I think the Harrison's are back year, along with Johnson and Lee.

I agree. I am going to be in Lexington for the LSU game. My first trip to Rupp. I think I picked a nice slaughterfest to attend.

That will be a lot of fun. LSU is on the rise in BBall. I miss some of those great Dale Brown teams.
You will have a blast, and I really would expect that to be a close game honestly.
Until this UK team figures out the entire game concept, they will struggle to put away teams.
