Can we start doing something about the word “retard”? Editing it, banning it?
I know I don’t have any clout here but that word is just offensive, hateful, inappropriate and unkind. Makkng fun of people that can’t help it just seems mean and trashy.
I love the rant and there’s nothing wrong with swearing etc. but every time I read that word I cringe. We’re in 2018.
Anyway I hope you all as admins really think about It consider doing something to eliminate its use.

I disagree on the banning or editing but a solution that might work for everyone is adding it to the vulgarity filter and have it asterisked out. Users could then chose to enable the filter under their profile if they didn’t wish to see it.

No, not a rule, just won't get anyone's attention. Admins treat us all equally and don't care what we want - regardless of post count lol. Just pointing it out that many couldn't care less.
