Team Centric IM threads on the team boards

I know IM threads are the yang to Ice's yin, but is there a possibility to have a team based IM thread. not really just conversation about anything in the world, but just random dicsussion centered around just the teams or schools. Rather than creating new threads about just a quick question and such.

Maybe call it a "Talk" thread for each school, rather than "IM" as to not confuse it as an anything goes discussion. When they get too long, lock, anchor it, and start another
