the biggest problem I have wiht the board and why I've mostly stopped posting on SECR is because the alter/troll problem has just gotten entirely too much. since there is nothing that can really be done about that (I have some of my preferences there but shitty posters will be shitty posters no matter how many rules you put in place) the ignore feature is by far the best solution. I also think this would actually cut down on alters, since instad of banning the shitheads every week you could just ignore them and never see them again. This seems like a relatively simple solution as well, I know rivals alreayd does it.

- Spoiler tags.
- Embedded tweets. So many boards on this website rely heavily on tweets, whether it's the Rant, Recruiting board, PT, Movie board, etc. Our options are either to post a text based link or upload an image of the tweet itself. Allowing us to natively embed tweets would be incredibly convenient.
- HTML5 video support, specifically for formats such as MP4 and WebM. On a technical level, GIFs are comparatively inferior - low resolution, low framerate, poor colors, and they take up a ton of bandwidth. Something like a WebM has superior colors, framerate, resolution, all while being significantly smaller in size.
