I don't know that I can bend on the JFF portion of the deal. That's a big sticking point for me.
Maybe you should sleep on it.
I can't promise the SECr won't bash you though. I can only do so much.

How about I can sticky a JFF boom or bust thread - you do your predicting of flame out druck or whatever then it also absorbs the rest.

Is this board ok to debate things? What about an invite only rant where people can debate stuff without random crap all over the place. Because lets face it, certain topics will come up alot as they should and certain posters from all schools acknowledge this. They are good topics even though they are on going. I hate for the great topics to be the taboo ones because the dumbass posters dont understand.
Now - if I am missing something and this board is kinda slanted towards helping certain schools therefore any valid points are frog ponded - let me know. I'm ok with that. Well I am not really ok with that but realize thats the deal and will have to accept it for what it is. But at least I will know.
If you want some good discussion where points and counterpoints are actually granted - lets try something out.
Or tell me to go frick my myself with no lube. Ill take that as a no.

Talking about an invite only board like the team board except its a rant board. Therefore topics like JFF or scheduling or whatever, if there was a reason to add meaningful new information or a fresh take on an old topic we could do so without all the crap.
For instance - as much as you might look at my posts and conclude Im a maniac I kinda having fun because I have no choice. Its always (almost) due to an attack). I rarely if ever go to other threads just to say it sucks. I go to a thread to comment on the topic.
In other words try to keep it civilized arse possible. and as on point as possible. If a thread is debating Florida's claim to be an all time top 5 team. Whether or not Ole Miss sucks is irrelevant, although an Ole Miss poster my participate in the discussion.
I know it wouldn't be that smooth - but I think you might get some lurkers interested in such a rant.
Just a thought.

The SEC Ticket Exchange is good for this until the season starts.

Cool. By the way - some of my threads were good. Why don't you post em. You got clout.
1) JFF sticky guess 1-4 like I said. It was going well and could keep JFF traffic all year on that thread.
2) Bets. A&M Bama. With Patton he changes his name to Whiskey's Gal and with Cyde I don't know yet - he is a sick frick loves to hate people gotta think of something good.
Most of my threads were actually good. 2 somebody asked me to do and it happened to be on the day I went over the edge. Somebody baited me. I had no idea it was an issue.

You got to pull yourself together and get back in there and fight for JFF.
I'm not going to fight your battles for you but I will give you some advice...
The secret to avoiding the anchor is to post a recent article touching on the subject you want to talk about. That way, in essence, it's new to the board.
So start your JFF thread with this article which came out a few hours ago and BOOM, new conversation about JFF that should be anchor proof.
Good luck.

But I got this deal brewing with Belle and I kinda like her, and I need a cool sig. Not posting about JFF is not fair - its the topic of the year and I am the only poster with any fricking clue about football who might support JFF. The "aggies" on this sight have sold out for "rant" relevance.
We gotta be able to discuss JFF. The prediction of his year, draft grade, draft, and NFL career is one of the potential best topics the rant will ever have. Lets not miss it. Lets sticky it. Go back to my 4 point scale. The we move to draft articles. etc..
I have talked to scouts who have said this will be the hardest graded player ever. My personal opinion is that JFF throws so well off balance that he may be the first player the NFL allows to actually make throws from unbalanced positions and against his body. I know he needs to get better at pre snap reads and arm strength - but he is much much more elusive than any player we have ever seen. Cam was strong. That is different.
Bottom line. Lets get a thread stuck. Keep the trash out. and keep it a long time. Its a very interesting story. One that shoulndt be burried or trashed.

Whats the story with pondwater Jack?
Posted on 8/2/13 at 7:28 pm to WhiskeyBent
Pondwater Jack was another free spirit poster such as yourself.
He spoke his mind and really didn't care what anyone thought.
Unfortunately, he didn't care too much for the rules or warnings from above either... He's been banned for a while but his memory lives on.
RIP PWJ
