That is one hundred percent a jab at the defense. Mullen is super passive aggressive.

You can see the frustration on Mullen's face. He hates to lose and he is probably at this moment thinking "what if".

One thing he is right about...still a lot to play for. UGA still has to play Mizzou at home, @ AU and Texas A&M at home. Could they lose two out of those three SEC games? Yes, but unlikely. I have seen stranger things happen....like in 1992 when we had doors blown off early in the season by UT and Moo State. UT seemed to have the east locked up. But lo and behold, they choked and lost three conference games in the year of the inaugural SECCG that we wrestled away from UGA at the end.

None of us should hold our breath waiting for UGA to stumble twice. To finish 10-2 and go to a good bowl game is our goal now.
