Why even bother showing up against Bama?

Its already determined by everyone that UF has no shot.

It seems like UF only truly gets up for a game when they have tons of motivation. I can't quite explain it, but UF seems like they need to be disrespected the hell out of to play with everything they have.

EDIT: Obviously I believe UF has a shot, but I just hope the media just disrespects the hell out of UF all week next week.

Mostly because we gotta.

I have no hope to win that game, we're just not there on defense. The defense may even be a two year fix after this year, although we are getting more talent on that side of the ball.

Mullen has recruited really well, but we have to wash out the McElwain guys.

I think it's good to be hopeful but realistic if for no other reason than managing one's expectations. We can win this game, but we shouldn't, all things being equal.

There's that subset of Gator fans (and really any fanbase in the same situation) who will, but the time the game rolls around, go from thinking we have a puncher's chance to believing we're a stone cold lock of the week. Then when what was always probable happens, they'll bitch and moan about players and coaches for weeks rather than just admitting that Alabama is a more complete team at the moment and beating them was an uphill battle for a Gator's team with a pretty mediocre defense, Trask and co. or not.

I hope we win, and I thin we can win. However, I think what is most likely is something like the LSU game last year. If we play like that, while I'll hate losing, I won't be particularly pissed about the outcome.

Now, if we go in there and get boat raced, different story.

We're not gonna get boat raced. Something like the LSU game last year is my prediction too.

That LSU game last year was 1-2 plays away from being completely different.

Yes. Neck and neck with the 15-0 team in the nation midway through the third quarter, and then a couple of spectacular plays by Burrow and his WRs (not to mention some blatant holding).

That said, if the ball bounces our way here and there, you never know. If Jones throws a couple INTs, or their precious RB drops the ball, it could be the difference in the game.

And don't count out a corona surprise.

Screw that. Every team is beatable. We went neck and neck with LSU last year until two bad turnovers. We are better now and that LSU was better than Bama.

Trask keeps us in any game. Will be about us containing somehow enough to win. I believe in the group.

We can’t even handle LSU right now. Again, I can’t see how you guys are so confident in this team. It’s a been a struggle fest all year seems like.

Bama handles fricking business. On both sides of the ball.

We can’t run, we barely have enough pass protection and we struggle for at least 2 quarters each game.

Bama played this LSU team and scored 40-something points against this team in Death Valley before halftime. This will be ‘15-‘16 all over again. We really have no business being in Atlanta.

And once again, we win the east in a down year.

Yeah I’ve lost all hope for next week.

Trask got exposed a bit.
