Norvell runs a damn fine and fun offense. His special teams are some of the best I have seen in the nation this year.

I was just thinking the same thing about that offense

I love that play action pop pass they run a lot of.

Hopefully you saw Kiffin's FAU beat a quality Marshall team. Kiffin has turned this team around and they all believe. FAU going bowling since 2008.

I'm not so sure this Memphis offense will work in the SEC. 21 points in the half against Tulsa ins't huge feat, considering Tulsa gave up 48 points and 38 points in a half already this year.

To me, this isn't that impressive either. Tulsa also marched up and down the field twice starting way on their own side of the field. 21 - 14 at half against Tulsa isn't a good look. They could still storm out and dominate, but I'm not impressed.

Would take Kiffin ahead of Norvell.

And I also don't think we have a quarterback that can run this system (already said this, but will expound): I mean, every quarterback that'll be here next year will be new to this style. Read option is easy to establish right away, but the read option plus a flare out screen while looking downfield.

Franks can't even check down, Zaire might not be here next year meaning we have no idea if our quarterbacks can run this system.

I dont think we can hold ANY QB accountable for how they performed in this -Mac/Nuss- offense. Mulligans for all imo since not one has looked impressive/efficient in it.

My problem with the offense is that it seems to have a lot of negative plays. There's a lot of plays for bunch yards too but a lot of plays seem to get blown up. Could be the lack of personnel, not sure?

They're high risk plays -- a lot of responsibility on the quarterback and long-developing plays. It's a sound offense, but this is college and kids don't think straight.

To my man Buch: Franks would never be able to run this type of offense. Not next year at least. He'd need at least a year to learn it and even then I'm not sure he could. It requires a shite ton of vision that we just don't seem to have.

Trask might be ok with a read option offense that also has mixed in pro sets. He has a slower delivery from the videos I have seen and reaction time to WRs is a little tad slower. But in combo pro/option read he could maybe develop into a pretty good QB. Del Rio would be too slow footed for read option...but can manage a pro style offense without as much risk...if he can stay healthy.

Mac was determined to start Franks cause the peanut gallery was clamouring for him...but I knew it probably wouldn't turn out well. I don't know exactly Frost brings to the table on offense honestly (have been too busy to watch clips) and hope to watch some of the second half tomorrow of the game tomorrow....unless I don't win $$ in the tournament cause then I could watch the whole game Hoping to collect over $ 75,000 tomorrow. But remember if it was easy...everybody would do it

Frost's offense is run-first spread option. He played Quarterback at Nebraska and had +1,000 yards passing and +1,000 yards rushing.

Pulls offensive linemen a lot, and seems to have a very disciplined O-Line.

Really shifty play-action. I like it, especially for the SEC. And it's not like Auburn's, they have on average more pass yards than they do rush -- in the opposite of Auburn.

Good luck, Reel. I'm rootin' for you to get a little honey for the jar.

You said coaches don't listen to the fans.

Mac is way to cocky to play a QB because that’s what the fans want . Maybe he played Franks because you knew from thd last 2 years that he will never win an SEC championship game playing QBs with out much talent. I think we all knew that Franks would have growing pain as a redshirt freshmen but he never improved at all during the season . We will find out if it was because of Mac or Franks. The only 2 QBs to have good records under Mac at UF are both coaches sons.

I honestly am liking Kiffin more and more. He trolls, he has instantly rebuilt that program, and he can recruit.

Guy cracks me up. I hated him at UT, but I hated him because I was worried about how good he would be.

If we hired him, I know there would be some dismay by many. I think that disappears quickly when they see his talent in recruiting and offensive coaching.

I'm warming up to Kiffin as well -- especially if we can't get Frost.
