I also remember after the 2016 game that there was talk about how he was gonna push Appleby for that #2 spot. People should go back and watch that game, he was running really good in that game.

ETA: talking about the 2016 spring game.

Here ya go. YouTube

He's not quick, but he's a big boy. Mullen's Quarterbacks never really run 20 - 40 yards, they're supposed to be getting 4 - 8, maybe a first down if they can.

He won't be the best Quarterback we've ever had, but we need a just a dude who can make powerful, tough runs and can throw it over the middle.

He can do both.

I think so too. IMO, at his position, in this offense, I believe it's more important to be quick rather than fast. It appears he is accurate enough and throws with anticipation.

Is he a true dual threat QB? I doubt it. He is certainly a big boy. Even with Tebow, the coaching staff (Butter Teeth had a coaching staph) advised TT, to avoid contact as much as possible.

Trask, just needs to learn to take advantage, especially with his feet of what the defense will give him. That is very demoralizing to a defense.

I think that's his only real problem for the Power Spread is that he prefers to sit back and look for that receiver -- which is kind of good and bad. We need him to be able to run, even if it's for a few yards, but at least he keeps his eyes upfield.

It's what really, really irks me about Franks. His eyes go to the line and he can't seem to get his head off of what's going on in the blocking scheme. His biggest problem is his mind, and I'm just not sure if one year is sufficient to get rid of all the different problems he has.

So how big of a difference will it make if Franks is the starter? Will we go from a 10 win team to a losing record like last year ? You supported coach Mac till it was clear that he was going to be fired . You were a Mac supporter to the end that’s why you hate Franks . You put the teams struggles on offense on Franks and now he may show that he wasn’t the main problem with the offense under Mac . Besides Grier none of the QBs were any good under Mac .

Please tell me you feel like we go are going 15-0 because you always over value the team and I would like feel like we can win 10 or even 9 games this year .

If you're here to just talk shite, that's cool, but you made several remarkably silly comments.

That's not the end, so you have to pick one. Did I support him until the end or the death threats? I have evidence for this.

I don't hate Franks, and this conflated view of it is one of the most garbage attempts at explaining how he's not a good Quarterback.

How do you playcall for a guy who can't see the field at 6'5"? That can't move in the pocket? That has below high school footwork? Who stares down receivers? Who fumbles without contact? Who can't throw over the center of the field in his third year in college? Who doesn't understand blocking, blitzing or coverage schemes? He's just a bad QB.

Also, Trask is one of McElwain's guys, too, and I'm a vocal supporter of him.

I mean, if you want to leave out some incredibly, damning context out of last year, by all means. Our losing season is pretty squarely on losing Scarlett and Callaway before the season started.

Along with our best tackler and team captain at Safety, then his Senior counterpart at safety, then our best pass rusher. I think having 20 players out by the LSU game and having no HC by the Georgia game is pretty hard to overcome.

OR do you think losing 20 scholarship players (33 by the FSU game) and an HC is negligible? /drops mic.
