Coaches Poll has us at 23.
Waiting for the AP Poll.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. If anything, I wouldn't want to be ranked until after we beat Ole Miss.
Does this mean Gameday will be in G-ville next weekend?

Nope, Gameday will be at Clemson for their game vs. Notre Dame.
And on the contrary, I think this team being ranked is a good thing.
Their confidence will grow.
A young team with confidence is a very dangerous thing for their opponent.

They're rank appropriately, now time to bump it up after a potential win vs OM

Beat Ole Missy and we will be right at the door of top ten.

Not yet. If we lose this week, we drop back out if it again. I know we're all excited over yesterday's win, but nothing in that game showed that we're worthy of a top 25 status. At least not yet. We need to have a sound quality win where we perform at a high level CONSISTENTLY for an entire game instead of playing the comeback kid.
Now don't get me wrong, our team fought their butts off in the fourth quarter. You could see it when Powell scored that third touchdown. He was running on fumes. But McElwain was right in his post game interview. We didn't deserve to win because of the way the team played in the first 3 quarters. Grier was giving up sacks, putting too much heat on the ball over the middle, RBs couldn't get loose, to many fourth down situations, etc. I'm as happy as anyone here that we won yesterday, but there is no reason for us to go for it on fourth down 5 times in one game. That's not Florida football.
I'm really nervous about the future of our defense when Muschamps guys declare or graduate. It'll be interesting what our identity will be in a couple of years.

Has been for a while, dude. Winning these games is huge for us, because when Muschamp was here we almost never came back.
Watching a team down 20 - 7 come back and win 27 - 28 who couldn't put together drives like that to save their lives is big.
And for what it's worth:
Tennessee is not a bad team.
Kentucky just beat Mizzou up and down the field, almost with ease (the score does not show it).
ECU just went apeshit on VT.
Take what you want, Tenn. and Kentucky, as I said, are going to fight us harder than anyone else. They want those streaks to end very, very badly and we played as good as we needed to to win both of those games.
We finally seemed to find some gel in the Tennessee game on offense, and we'll be okay even if we lose. Team's looking 100% better since Muschamp was given the boot.

What burns my shorts in the polls is that 1 loss teams like Meatchicken are ranked ahead of UF 4-0.
Its ok...beat Ole Miss and we are going to be getting a lot of national attention along with the dubious SEC ripdown by the media that the SEC isnt any good anymore horse crap.
Media pundits are like parrots the lazy azzs....they hear it and repeat it. A lot of them havent really watched SEC football...but by God in Washington the word is that the SEC is slipping.
I hate Jack Arute, the former ABC sideline "reporter" with Keith Jackson and Frank Broyles who has his nose firmly planted up Dumbos arse cheeks and gushes when talking to Diddy Bowden. NEVER hear him speak about UF unless its negative. He doesnt go games and listening to his weekend activities, doubt he watches much on TV..he is lazy. He is on the afternoon XM radio show.
In stark contrast to Arute is Greg McEleroy, who is a work a holic and loves college football...Greg is the best color analyst and his morning drive time on XM with ZarZar is the best stuff going. Greg will break games down and while I may not agree with him...he at least tries to be factual. He also was QB at Bama when McElwain was there.

It's like people WANT Michigan to be good. I don't know why. I don't know how you look at them and rank them ahead of Florida.
Although, the win against BYU was very impressive.
