I believe that less than any rumor that I've heard for a while. No one is blocking this deal unless our University really doesn't want him.

Which everything points to ''we do''.

This would be the most Florida thing to do to cuck itself since that sure-fire touchdown against SC where our RB tackled our WR before getting into the end zone.

Someone please give Fooley a tour of the Pit of Misery.

Here's to Chip Kelly. Dilly Dilly.

1. He has no power to do so.

2. His last coach got tarred and feathered, the coach before that got tarred and feathered.

3. Why would he have a problem with Chip motherfricking Kelly?

4. Why are there no stories related to it?

Baseless rumor is baseless.

I think if he wants the job and contacted us then he has to be the top candidate. The idea that he wants the job would ease the fears of hiring him. Personally if I was him I would have called UF as soon as MAC was fired. UF is the best job in football for his coaching talent because of all the talent we have in Florida that fit his offense.

I can’t see Frost wanting the challenge of turning Nebraska or UCF into great programs over coming to one where he could make it great again a lot easier. Putting in all that work at UCF and at best he goes undefeated and plays in a major bowl game . I could see him staying at UCF for job security and to spend more time with his newborn baby with out the stress of a P5 job. I think he still has to play USF and if he loses then USF would win the division unless they have 2 losses now.

He does indeed still have to play USF, hope and pray that he doesn't lose. His stock would go crashing down if he laid an egg in that game.

Stricklin seemingly responded to that portion of the rumor.

They also denied that they were going to part ways with Mac the morning of the Florida Georgia Game, and it was obviously true the next day, so I take that denial with a grain of salt.

Found this on gator country....
A letter to Stricklin

Come on man, get moving, let's go,
this coaching search is interminably slow

It's time to dangle some big time dough
But if Dan Mullen bites, just say no

And for all that is good and righteous and holy
Please don't listen to Jeremy Foley

With him it's another diamond in the rough
and gator fans have had enough

...of Zook and Champ and McElwain
We can't take any more of that pain

To fix a program that has started to rust
the motto has to be: In Chip we trust
A lesser hire will get you cussed
and everyone knows Charlie Strong's a bust

So make the call and give Kelly a shot
If you don't give it your all, your seat will be hot

It's the only way without selling our souls
that we're guaranteed to own the Noles

But like most Gators, I've come to fear
that with our luck he'll never come here

He's so in demand with his bag of tricks
He knows he doesn't have to live in the sticks

He could literally coach anywhere he picks
and the SEC has too many hicks

If you don't make it clear that you're willing to pay
Chip's probably headed to UCLA

But have no fear, all hope is not lost
You can drive to Orlando and grab Scott Frost

He's no guarantee and may be a reach
if he loves the Huskers better than the beach

But you don't have to stand there and stomp and screech
Just pick up the phone and call Mike Leach

Some of our fans would call you a sinner
but you know damn well he'd make us a winner

If he says no, to the Aggies I'm bound
Yep, you're hearing that frightening sound

...of an approaching Tide and a Hurricane
knowing your options are down to Lane

At that point you can fret and obsess
Or just walk down the hall for SOS

Or do what you want, 'cause you're the boss
and we've got your back.... until the first loss

Man...its pure comedy...the rumor mill is working 24/7 w/o coffee & bathroom breaks...wow.

Have patience. A story on a sports agent blog ? Really? It wouldnt be self serving would it?

Relax. Chill the freak out dudes....nevermind, carry on while I'm laughing.

BTW Have great opportunity for real estate investors, have 155 acres of beautiful land that is parceled out into mostly 5 acre lots selling like hot cakes. Major roadway is only 89 miles away and there will be future growth. Get in on the ground floor while you can. Florida at its natural finest. You can have your children watch real live alligators, snakes, panthers and the elusive Big Foot.

Saw Scott Stricklin at the basketball game. I shook his hand and asked him if we would have a head coach soon and he laughed it off and said hiring a football coach is extremely important and you hear a lot of rumors, but be patient and they'll get us the right guy.

I wasn't expecting a real answer but Strick seems like a great guy and I trust he'll make the right hire. Hopefully it's Chip but I'll take Frost too
