There is no indication that Chip Kelly will not be the coach. Most of the talk has been that it could be announced sometime next week.

Obviously he thought that because it wasn't announced today (when Chip is working as an analyst), he will probably be announced in this week if he's announced. Especially since Corral is going to be in Gainesville vs. FSU.

So Strickland and Kelley have already met with SEC to get ok. doesn't the sec have to give someone ok to hire a coach with a show cause.to my knowledge there has been no meeting and the SEC has not given Florida permission to hire the chipper

100%, that's the kind of hire that could bring more money than any other. Chip could also kill it recruiting Florida and with the right DC could put us in the hunt every single year -- more exposure means more money.
More money means one happy Conference.

The SEC needs Florida to be good. There's one team that can challenge Bama when they're at their best- and it is us. A good Florida football team is when the conference wants. The SEC, and all of the teams, and FSU, all know that if we get Chip Kelly, we're back.
