Chip Kelly would be just as good as Frost -- I just can't believe Frost would consider going back to Nebraska to never be in the CFB Playoff over Florida, which has the in-state talent (if used correctly) to go there every year.
We just haven't found a coach who can manage a fricking depth chart.

Kelly -- Doesn't want to coach in College.
Frost -- Wants to go to bumfrick jackdick nothing Nebraska.
Kiffin -- Said we were cheating when we weren't.
Norvell -- ?????????
Taggart -- Not having a good season.
Stoops -- Well, someone has to tell us no.
Strong -- Called us racists.

Campbell -- Has a buyout for the same amount of money Mac lost.

Id take Kiffin. Idgaf about what he did. Alls fair in recruiting and cmon, we all know had he stayed at UT they wouldve been big trouble for us.

I was so anti-Kiffin that I was literally considering not watching football -- but after the Norvell talk I was like: frick it, let's go out in style.

What the frick is a matter which some of you? Kelly has been stated in an interview that he HATES recruiting WTF? You want HIM as our HC?
I'm pimping Spurrier now and the only reason we aren't hearing anything is that is TIGHT LIPPED in the ADs office.
Out of consideration for our current coaches Stricklin is being coy....you think UGA was bad? Announce now that Spurrier is the new HC and most of the entire staff will give up. Spurrier has a real plus in his favor...low budget move, splash hire, under no contract. The dawgs will shite themselves if we hire Spurrier....he HATES LOSING and hates the dawgs. Remember he was told the story back in the early 60s from older ex Gator players that UGA kept all their ace players in Athens with the ROTC program while some of our brave players lost their lives overseas fighting WW2. UGA beat us 75-0 when we didn't even have a fricking team...so now you know WHY Spurrier hates them.
Its the truth and Spurrier has quoted it several times. Read Go Gators which came out in 1973 and learn the history.

Remember the past few hires....its coming out of left field, so stop all the talk about candidates that probably wont get hired.

As bad as Mac has done, he had 2 top 10 classes lined up. That have still held up since he parted ways with the school.
Chip Kelly would pull top talent on offense on name alone. He’d just need a good DC to get defenders.

I would agree with you, Reel but: This is a much different time for Florida.
No more real ''chance'' taking is going to happen. I wouldn't even be that surprised if Stricklin has checked social media (including this forum).
I'm almost 100% sure we have named the next coach on here already.

Chip Kelly took a team made up mostly of 3 star recruits and nearly won a NC vs a team that beat Bama. Lost by 3 points. On a play where the defenders thought the back was down and let up.
The guy would crush at UF. That said the hire is a dream. He and Frost are too perfect. To the point i cant see either happening. Sadly

Well, here is another out of left field for you ...Gene Chizick...don't laugh my friends. He served as an asst LB coach for UF in 1981. He also coached at Seminole High School, which I can walk on my hands to the school its so close by.

Yes...its going to be tedious around here for a while. I will throw out something else to ponder about..most of you just don't know Spurrier and how damn great of a QB he was back in 1964-66...led us to many many come from behind wins in the fourth qt. He hates losing.
One thing I can assure you of...the media would be Spurrier's lapdog, he is a pressers dream. His quotes and off the cuff remarks are howling and pure comedy. He has a way to point fun at everything. FUN? you want FUN? He is a riot at practices when he needles players and makes them laugh.
I think he has had enough time away from coaching and is ready to carry that whistle again and wear that visor on the sidelines. Laugh if you want...but if he walked into Stricklin's office and said he wanted to be considered, what would Stricklin do? I think we should all know the answer.
