fumble before the half for a Dawg td literally took away any hope of making this an actual game. We get any points there and then get the ball back in the 3rd and its a different game.
Not a hard concept
But pop off
So it's okay to use the excuse for the OL or RB whiffing on a block for poor pathetic Philo, but if it's Jones at QB? Nope all the blame goes to Jones because he doesn't need blocking apparently. Watch the game instead of looking at skin color.

That answers alot
thanks
If you're going to say stupid shite about Lagway and Jones, I plan on doing the same for Philo and Mertz. Equal treatment. 4 below average QBs. Let their game decide who gives us a best chance to win.

Trash on Lagway. Trash on Philo. Welcome to Florida football.

Well when you run RPO, atleast have a QB who can ACTUALLY RUN. It helps Baugh when defenses have to account for both players who could run with it. Defenses know that Philo can't run for shite.

Agreed. I'm surprised at what some of the mods allow here. No wonder our board doesn't get a lot of traffic.

Give me Will Grier and Kyle Trask all day. Guys with actual arm talent that throw it deep down the field.

Lol you picked the next year when it's a completely different team. Hey man whatever helps you stay on your knees for supporting this crappy football program. I haven't spent a single penny on them since ive graduated.

I think Sumrall is in over his head and by 2029 will be looking for a new coach

Can't we bench both of them and give Will Griffin a shot?
Both Philo and Tramell seem like different flavors of arse

Actually this is the easiest schedule UF has had in the past 5 years in the SEC
so Sumrall has not had it as brutal as Napier did coming in
Not taking up for Napier glad he is gone, but schedule wise this is as manageable a schedule UF has had in a long time
Problem is we lost to a bad Usc-e team at the time we lost to them, they were reeling and going to fire there coach and we got spanked at home by them after getting demolished by a average Mizzu team in CoMo
I said 8 - 4 going into the season and its shaping up like that just thought the 8 - 4 would have looked a little different
Still him going 8 & 4 in the first year is going in the right direction, now if we are here next year talking about being 8 & 4 again then that means we lost some players in the portal and did bring in much from the portal
Unfortunately he is guy we have and not going anywhere until at least 2029

I just hate the schedule argument used as an excuse. SEC is always going to be tough no matter what and that's permanent. We're a big time program with talented players on both sides. We expect to win every game.
Before the season started I had this team going 5-7 due to the OL and QB issues but the Auburn, Ole Miss, and Texas game were shocking to me. These 3 teams had the defenses to stop us but we definitely hung in there with our offense. Losing to Miz and Scar was expected because they have the better QB and OL along with having a solid defensive unit.
8-4 is a great start for recruiting. But it's a disappointing 8-4 considering the way the season started. We have regressed instead of improving and developing.
A lot to evaluate on this roster. A lot of guys do not belong on this team. Make the decision on QB and push the other off the team and make room for a transfer. Continue to recruit at RB and WR. Bring in a pass catching TE transfer if you don't believe in Amir Jackson which is sad but I guess that's your offense. Look at your 1st and 2nd string on OL and make a decision on who can improve and who's just straight up trash and push them off. Kentucky and UCLA have proven to bring in transfer OL and have successful seasons.
Defensively, a frick ton of transfers. Interior D-line crucial for both pass rush and run stop to eat up the gaps for our LBs to feast on. Secondary is garbage. Hanks will stay due to legacy. Dijon and Cormani can leave. Hire a better secondary coach.
If he fricks up the QB decision again, 2028 is a hot seat year. Welcome to the transfer portal era. Rebuilds are for pussies.
