I don't think HBC has the energy anymore. Especially to do it with someone else as his boss overriding his decisions.

Spurrier is now about 71 maybe 72 and Im right behind him. You just dont have the energy anymore and you saw what happended at USC....he knew that stepping aside was the best for the program...it needed more energy.

I love Spurrier and all he has done at UF...I remember when he was a frosh on the Baby Gators (yes, thats right...frosh couldnt play and the JV squad which did play some SEC teams was called "Baby Gators" and back then you could sign more players and thus a full squad could be on the field)

Most of you dont know this bit of trivia....but back as late as 1968 I believe...College All Stars would play the defending NFL champion team (before Super Bowls)...Spurrier of course played in Jan 1967 after bowl games...some games were actually won by the college all stars but the pro team didnt usually play real hard.
