Like him or not, Franks is the best QB on the roster. More serious problems than him Saturday night. No toughness or heart shown by both lines. The O-line is soft and the defense can't or won't tackle, these are much bigger issues than Franks. Depth on the defense is becoming a huge issue, CC Jefferson, WTF?

Straws is broken hearted because Franks beat out Trask for the starter position. He will tell you a revisionist story that he knew all along that Franks would be the starter, but go back to July and his predictions. He hates being wrong...and couldn't wait to attack Franks. He has a deep problem somewhere.

Well the good news Straws is that your boy just might get in the game this Saturday by late 3rd qt hopefully. Then you can tell all of us how much better he is than Franks, even though he will be playing with the 2s.

I'm broken hearted because we continue to watch our offense go out and eat plates of shite every game that isn't an FCS.

I don't care if it's Trask, Emory or Toney.

Missed Tackles, DL not doing their job, defense giving up yards =/= to points. No one ever listens to the argument I'm making.

I get it, defense gave up yards and points -- but it was just 21.

Our offense couldn't score more than 10 points in almost 4 quarters. Our last touchdown happened with 6 minutes left in the game.

It doesn't matter if our defense is bad if our offense can't even score 21 points at home, it doesn't matter if they miss tackles if our offense literally can't move the ball.

Who's responsible for moving the ball? Why can an FCS team with no star defensive lineman throw for 475 yards against FSU, but Franks throws for half of that as the home team when they were the away team?

He completed 45% of his passes at home in a friendly environment. Teams will continue to just stack the box and blitz him, knowing that eventually he will make a mistake.

Again, TL;DR

If the offense cannot score points, it doesn't matter what the defense is doing. If we have a QB who cannot run or pass, we will never be successful on offense.

How many years does he need, how many years are we going to watch him continue to be a mediocre QB? Do you guys really trust him going into Tennessee or Mississippi State when he can't even handle Kentucky?
