Coach recruited them. These are all his guys, who should be buying into his way.

So they learned this thuggery, in their short time at UF? or they changed their life style and total character in their short time a UF? It takes time to change a person, some get it, some don't. I am pleased that disciplinary action is taking place and that it won't be tolerated in the future.

I'm just saying, when you are the captain of the ship, the final responsibility falls on you. Never in all of my years have I seen a gator team in this much disarray to start a season. Not even the 2009 criminals.

I don't know if it's bad luck or what, but this staff just can't maintain positive momentum for very long. There is ALWAYS something that trips them up. QB doping, injuries, mass suspensions, bad AstCoach hires, you name it, it's happened.

I agree with this. It's on Mac to get it fixed. Suspending the guilty players is the right thing to do. Calling for Mac to resign is absolutely ridiculous and people need to step off the ledge.

And yet, they've still managed to win 20 games in 2 years. It's part of the growing pains in building a program. Get this single issue involving a bunch of players resolved, get them back by SEC play, and let's move forward from this. We can make a statement by beating Michigan. I have faith in the players we do have. I just hate that we are handicapping ourselves.

We'll see. I still see a slight glimmer of hope, because the QB and OL positions haven't been hit hard, and the defense has all it's starters.

I've slowly convinced myself we'd be fine too.

Realistically, were missing 3 starters.

Marcell Harris for the year
Antonio Callaway
Jordan Scarlett

A lot of teams have a lot more starters they lose to injuries and suspensions in the preseason. It's just the cloud of negativity and the distraction of it that's so frustrating.

And yet this is an opportunity for younger players to show leadership and the team to bound together. Classic world vs US situation.

Mac has said that he likes the way this team has dealt with uncomfortable situations in camp. We will see if they are able to do that on a huge stage.

Remember another time a beat up, over-matched Gator team was told that they had no chance of winning. 16-10 in BR. Go Gators, beat Michigan!

LSU may have more talent but save for Dave Aranda UM has a better staff. Those two games don't compare at all.

When we win both, the comparison will be overwhelming!

Pat Dooley doesn't like Mac because he doesn't give him access like Urb used to. He makes him actually work, and Dooley doesn't like that.
