He was hurried 6 times on 42 passes, that's 14% or once every 7 drop backs. That's...neither alarming nor worrisome for the first game of the season. He was only sacked once.

SEC StatCat says otherwise.

26% of the time

3 sacks to 1, regardless of what stats we're using.

We're talking about UF here though and their pressure rate. We can start another thread on the differences in UGA and UF if you want

Pressure rate is completely subjective, which is why I use ESPN's hurry system.

Regardless of how many times someone think he was pressured, he completed 71% of his passes for six touchdowns and over 400 yards.

You sound like PFF with "interceptable balls".

Are hurries, an actual statistic that has measurement for the defensive players, not convenient for you?

And that's less subjective than the evidence I provided?

I never said it wasn't an awesome day for him. I'm talking about whether there should be some concern or not about his OL pass pro when they face a more competent team.

Was the proof I provided for you not convenient for you?

Hurries are counted as a statistic while pressure is a wonky metric that has no real bearing whatsoever. That's why they track hurries and not pressures.

Trask was never uncomfortable in the Ole Miss game, as evidenced by the 400+ yards, six touchdown passes and zero turnovers.

He hit his fifth read on a play, for Peter's (sic) sake.

No, we're not worried about pressure getting to Trask.

P.S., you never gave proof. You never posted a video, or gave any sort of evidence or reason for why you think pressure was a better statistic than a hurry (which is actually noted and designated to the defense for a reason).

I’m not sure if South Carolina is more competent than ole miss right now.

Pressures are just an all encompassing stat that includes hurries, knockdowns, and sacks. It's still useful to look at and use. I don't have a preference for why one is better than the other. I just like looking at a multitude of things. I'm just asking if there's any reason for alarm if they play a team with a better front 7. You clearly don't think so which is fine. I just want see the OL hold up against a better front.

Trask broke several records, longstanding Florida records. So I think we're pretty comfortable with it.
