Far be it from me to question the quality of a UF degree but...

We have 4 TD passes so far this year

1+2=4?
Could've been worded better. I.e. two others were left unguarded. The point was out of the 4 3 were flukes. We have one legit passing TD.

All good. I kind of assumed that's what you were getting at, was just funny.

Don't take the praise from the detractors on the board, they're among the stupidest on the Gators' forum with the exception of Finch.

1 legitimate passing TD (are we sure the 1 pass was legit) for the entire fricking season. That is absolutely awful. This entire staff should be fired just for this fact alone. Clear this shite out. Get rid of everybody. This shite is contagious.

After we lose by 40 to Georgia, all but straws will be aboard the coaching change

Straws Will have a few others with him like reel . Some of these guys seem to have a personal attachment to Mac. Even though not one person on this board actually believes in him , a few fans stick up for him . I don't think anyone on this board including Straws and reel believe Mac will be our coach in 2019. The guy is done it's only a matter of when .

Hoping he'll take a more hands on approach with the offense and less of a CEO approach (at least until the offense is in cruise control) moving forward. I don't think he's done by any means. I do think he needs a win against UGA and/or FSU to get the fanbase back on board

UGA and FSU both are flawed teams. UGA is a paper tiger right now. They think they are world beaters but they are very one dimensional on offense. I think we could play them close and possibly win with a proper game plan (that I'm not sure this coaching staff can come up with). Their defense got gashed this Saturday and if you put up points and they get behind, I think they are prone to make mistakes.
FSU's offensive line is porous, they can't protect the QB. Their defense can't put pressure on opposing QBs. Another game that should be winnable but I have very little confidence in our offense which means too much pressure on the defense. Hopefully Mac will catch lightning in a bottle but I won't hold my breath.

Bookmarked.
No team is perfect this year. Including Alabama. If you think our defense got "gashed", then you clearly didn't watch it. I saw 3 true missed assignments/improper technique plays by the DBs - 2 of which resulted in the long TDs... in only the second game against a team with a pocket passer who had the ability to get the ball that far down field. I also saw some adjustments made which essentially took the deep throw away. Then a missed play once the game was well in hand by a MLB who has only started one game let the TE get open with no safety support in the second half, but the game was more or less over by that point.
I am kind of hoping UF decides to roll out Zaire instead of Franks for that reason though... while Franks may not read defenses well, he does seem to have the ability to throw the deep ball... it may not connect often, but if he's got a wide open receiver, it doesn't have to be great. Probably UF's best chance... I wouldn't anticipate a lot of running success given what I've seen of this defense yet, but gotta see what we get back in the way of injury recovery as well... I will never count the Ga/Fla game as a win until the clock counts down to zeroes, but UF doesn't have the same defense that they've relied on to cause problems in years past.
With that said, FSU should be a must win game for Mac this year IMO... down a QB, that OL is hot garbage, and their D is not as imposing as they have been in years past. Mac has to get your O firing in some capacity by then or it likely ends up sealing his fate in 2018, as I wouldn't anticipate them being this bad for that long. As is, they're probably still a top 25-30-ish team from a talent/ability standpoint... even if the W/L column doesn't necessarily reflect that.

He should of fired Nuss yesterday and took over the play calling . But he doesn't seem to think the play calling is an issue. I think this fan base and program will have a tough year and half waiting for him to be fired. Other then firing Mac at the end of the season there is nothing that can be done to all of the fans excited about next year . Mac has yet to do anything at UF to prove that he is worth keeping. Our chances of getting a top up and coming coach after next year is a lot less likely then this year .

The playcalling last week was not the problem. Franks had more than a few chances to make plays and simply didn't.

Why are we not playing someone better on the roster like Corral ?
If Franks was the problem then next year we are hoping to get a freshmen or transfer who can pull off a miracle? Your saying 3 years into Mac tenure at UF and we don't have a serviceable QB ? But that's not Macs fault ? he has been a great recruiter and offensive mind here haha .
