Forgot wright at rb. True freshman. Arjei Henderson isn’t on the team. But rick wells and Trent whittemore should both be listed at wr. You forgot Cox the transfer on defense.

Uf really needs a home run at wr and dL this cycle.

Maybe if the ol improves and a lot of juniors stay uf could be a contender next year but that dl makes me doubt it.

dL this cycle

We got a manbeast in Dexter and a few other 4 star DTs coming in. Defense gonna be nasty next year once these guys settle in.

Why wouldn't he be? He's made chicken salad out of chicken shite all season.
Who in our front 7 -Other than Zuniga/Greenard-would start for Georgia?
Diabate is a 4, didn't take him long to shine in his first start.

My bad, forgot about transfers. Our most pressing need is DL, WRs, punter & RB we do have help coming to fill in DL but we better hope Dionte is the real deal at WR after redshirting...but look at Copeland.

OL is actually ok and just need some elite talent. We really concentrated on the position last year and it takes to time for most to develop.

Grantham is g double o goone after this season. He's already tacitly said so. He was only staying here for his boy to finish up high school -- and now that the kid is playing for Mississippi he is very likely going to the NFL after this season.

How does this make any sense? Kid in MS, he's in Florida, a few hours away. Theres no pro team in MS and the workload Id imagine is tons more in the pros.

I think it was legitimately just so his kid wouldn't have to switch high schools.

Now that his kid graduated and moved away from the nest I assume he wants to go pursue other goals.

I hope we get another 3 - 4 -- I really like the pass rush we've generated from it.

I think Dan prefers 3 DL as well so that shouldn't be an issue should we hit the market

We are assuming a lot about DC...lets see what next year brings.

Oh, on Whittemore I didn't list him because he stated he might play defense when recruited and Wells hasn't done much.

The roster is not comprehensive....just a starting point of players we will have on the roster. I listed Marco...but the lure of the pros might make him choose to leave which is a mistake imo. Henderson will leave and his lack of tackling skills might cost him. Honestly, if I were a GM of a pro team I would not invest more than a second or third round for him. Cover skills are great but if the receiver breaks free for ten extra yards?

Very rarely do dL come in and start at a high level year 1.

Especially on the inside.

Uf is losing a ton of production on defense. They will regress on that side of the ball.
Think about how bad the defense was without greenard and Zuniga healthy. They are both gone.

Secondary may improve. Only Taylor graduates and everyone else comes back except probably cj.

Lb I think has enough good players now to survive Reese leaving.

The dL is really the mystery to me. Lose shuler ancrum greenard and Zuniga. That’s Three starters and a key backup. Not sure who on this current team can replace those starters.

Diabate had 3 sacks, Cox will be cleared and we have some good DTs coming in. We have guys wholl learn as they go but more talented than the LBs we have starting.

I've watched Dexter play all season. He's a monster, physically. But he's not gonna contribute very much next season.

He's going to have to get his mind right. Bad case of prima donna syndrome. Takes plays off, only plays when he wants.
I know no one wants to hear this, but it's the truth.
I've also seen DT commit Johnie Brown play twice. He's got a mean streak, but he's not ready physically.

I don't pay a ton of attention to recruiting mid season but I thought we had two really strong WR commits with Manuel and Fraziars. Seems Manuel has dropped some? Thought he was top 100 at one point. Maybe I'm wrong.

DT class looks very good though.

They'll play early out of necessity. We're thin at the position already and ppl are leaving.

True. Maybe someone can move over as well? Like Clement can move to WR I'm sure if needed. Just put Wright as the third RB.

If Grantham does leave and Mason gets let go from vandy.

That should be Mullens first phone call would love that guy here running our defense and recruiting DL & LB to Florida with his passion win win all the way around

Do they actually like each other? I know it got heated last year.
