They will beat us by 3 TDs I'm afraid.

I mean, we lost to a team we were supposed to lose to -- who regularly performs pretty well on a neutral field without our top two playmakers on offense.

FSU was supposed to be a title contender and they got flat out dominated by the other team.

We should never risk ourselves playing a top 25 team in the first week again. We never perform well out of state, or against good teams the first week.

Especially with a new QB and essentially a new offensive scheme around that quarterback.

Just a bizarre series of events, bad playcalling and even worse execution. McElwain needs to show progress by next week or we should go back to the drawing board.

I think if I thought this staff could regroup and come back out strong for the season, I'd care a lot less about Michigan. We got beat by a team that was supposed to beat us; it happens. I expect upsets, but not getting one doesn't bother me for long.

However, in the last two years, I have no reason to believe that this isn't going to be what happens every time we play a decent team. We still have everything in front of us, but I imagine me and everyone else on this board is now gearing up for another season of ugly wins and getting run out of the stadium every time we play an elite team. That's what's damned irritating about this.

Why? Its just delaying the inevitable realization that we suck vs. good teams.
