The opportunity to beat FSU, UCF and Miami in consecutive games is too tempting...

Why give UCF more exposure ?? No thanks.

Of course, matching us up against McElwain would also be an "interesting storyline" in the simple minds of the bowl selection committees. Do not want.

Texas or UCF for me, don't want to even think about ex-Gator coaches or players.

Alright I want UCF.

Make no mistake, we run the Sunshine State.
The ???????? Florida school to play on Championship Saturday is UCF.
Let’s go 1-0 ??

It’s a trick . Let them claim to be the best in state . I want a team that that beating can help our brand . If we beat OSU or Oklahoma then it’s a big win .

Still, to beat FSUxs, University of Central FL directional college and scUM in 3 consecutive games would be sweet!

What if the team doesn’t show because they don’t respect UCF and we lose?
Posted on 11/26/18 at 10:15 am to tjv305
Exactly !!! We have nothing to gain beating them...let them play in their shitty conference.

If it were a team outside of the state, maybe.
But you can bet that UF will get up for a team inside the state that has won 20+ straight games, and claims that they own the state and that they are reigning National Champs.

We need to stomp this out right now, and it's an in-state team. We literally can't let them play a team with zero defense.
It'd be nice if Georgia got them and we got to play Texas or something along those lines, but I doubt that happens.
So let's go take down the two time off-season National Championships in our own state and lock this shite down. No doubts, no arguments, no excuses.
Just beat the frick out of them and then destroy Miami next year.

That would be on the coaches. Mullen has already addressed why you play the games. If you can't get excited to play in a New Years 6 Bowl against an undefeated, in state school, you shouldn't be playing football at UF. We need to recapture the state of Florida, beating Fsuxs and scUM are the 2 big games but teams like UCF directional college need to be put in their place also.

Then we get Miami..Sweep
Posted on 11/26/18 at 2:50 pm to dbuchanon
Exactly. We want to dominate Florida. Just recruiting the state of Florida alone -- getting top recruits, we will have top 5 classes easy. But we have to completely stomp out FSU and Miami -- which is very possible. UCF is fast rising, though, and we want to make sure that this is just a quick little spurt and not the emergence of an actual contender for the state.
I think they'd beat Miami and FSU, though.
