We are sitting prettier than most think right now. Everyone has dismissed us after the WLOCP and maybe thats the BEST thing that could have happened to us. I remember in 2006 when we lost to AU....I knew right then our team would regroup and refocus. And they did.
UGA just did almost the same thing. They got crap beat outta of them by USC...then struggled against UK...which was a Godsend....it gave the coaches an excuse to chew their butts off.
We are # 7 in the BCS right now and dont laugh...strange things can happen. A lot of football left. USCw could knock down two teams currently ahead of us...LSU will probably lose to Bama, thats three...then if UGA escapes OM...they play Bama in SECCG...there goes another one. K State is going to have to stumble...but they also have CG after regular season is over. We play the 9th ranked BCS team in the girls school...we can be 2nd or 3rd in BCS at the end boys and girls. Laugh if you wanna...but we have to just win out and we will be at worse Sugar Bowl bound.
Just remember there is a lotta football left and championship games after that....a lot can happen.

So what you're saying is, if we when out, and 2-6 lose, we're gonna be in the BCS title game?

Or at worse be ranked # 3 in the country and play in Sugar Bowl with 2013 looking real good.
And dont think for a minute that teams arent gonna lose that are ranked ahead of us....been down that road before...it will happen. Football is a funny game sometimes and strange things happen.

Good points all the way around. I know we wouldnt have the best shot of beating Bama but would still like to make the SEC CH game. Go ole miss

Kansas State does not have a championship game this year though due to the BIG 12 being down to 10 teams this year. However I could see them losing one game. Their schedule still has them playing Oklahoma State at home, TCU on the road, Baylor on the road, and Texas at home. I could see any of those games being a loss for K State. My opinion is Bama ends up #1, Oregon #2, and Florida #3 going into bowl games. Sugar Bowl > Gator Bowl.

Yes, losing a game to your most bitter rival is always the best thing to happen during a football season.

Florida is sitting much prettier than we all thought they would be back in August - that being said - it doesn't take away the sting of laying taht egg in Jacksonvile.

Nothing takes away that sting. I would hope next year we come out of the locker room breathing fire and feeling homicidal on the field....grind their azz into the turf.
