I want Frank's to throw a pick. Be better to have that moment now than at Tenn prob. Throw a pick. Get down on himself. Then have Dan calm him and see how he reacts next time out. The biggest key for this kid is how he reacts to adversity. So I wouldn't mind seeing it this week. I don't think UK is a challenge with all the talent we have honestly. We out match them and have coaching that wins these games with ease judging from their past.

Close early, UF by 10 at half. 35-7, 35-10 range. 32 straight and time to get ready to spank McElwain's old team, they asked for the game, now they gonna get it!

I watched the UK game earlier today at work while doing other stuff. I noticed some things overall.

1. Stop worrying about us running. Their run D isn't that good. CMU's QB has a slow first step but gained positive yards most carries he had it. Franks is a better runner. We will rush for over 200 on them. Probably pretty easily.

2. They tackle well on the perimeter. Noticed after catches their DB's do well at getting the guy down. That could hurt us some.

3. Snell is good. But we can gameplan to slow him down. We did it last year, and that was with Shannon.

4. Terry has an arm, but it's not accurate deep. He can throw it down field, but we really can go 1-1 on run downs and wouldn't be to worried. May connect on one deep ball but doubt more.

5. Undisciplined - UK had some really costly penalties and bone headed moments that kept this game close.

6. Allan will get to Franks, but the rest of the line isn't really scary from what i saw. We need to make sure our backs are hitting him every pass down to help the tackles out.

7. PR looks pretty good. Hope we cleared up the PR unit.

8. Stoops did well in the second of fixing the issues of the first for the most part. He is a smart coach. But you see dumb moments. Get back coach screwed up and cost them 15 yards for instance.

Either way. I see us getting close to 450 yards on them overall. their defense really isn't that intimidating.

I hope Franks throws 3 long bombs in first half and they wave the white flag.

What I saw from Kentucky: Their strength is clearly the running game, but I can confidently say our first string defensive front 7 is much better than Central Michigan.

Their weakness, however, is discipline -- all over. 5 turnovers, 4 in the first half. Penalties (even though they got a lot of help from the refs).

I think that they opened that poorly at home is a pretty good indication that they will likely struggle on the road at Florida in a night game. The place will likely be packed after last week.

UF front 7/8 need to finish their tackles. The / is Chauncey. Snell will gain a bunch of yards if UF miss tackles

UF needs to have more success running the ball. It was good to the right side. Cole Cubelic said Taylor (RT) was #2 performance out of SEC OLs. The Left side of the OL needs to step it up.

Franks needs to remain calm but make quick decisions. He played much better after the first punt. Take what the UK defense gives him.

Could our team have overlooked UK that much? DL & OL were not in the game at all.

Maybe UK will upset some folks and make us feel better, I dunno. They were the best team on the field.

I know that I predicted a close game and it was...but we couldn't run for crap. Forcing Franks to throw more than we wanted to. That's a recipe for an L.

I think Box jinxed us with that 38 point crap

What jinxed us was poor line play and poor tackling. To have as much experience returning on the o-line and to play that bad is unacceptable. Soft, soft, soft.
Missed tackles has been a problem for a while now, not sure how to fix that during the season. Half of this defense just doesn't want to hit anyone. Passive, beta defensive play. Lots of other things to work on, but if these problems are fixed, we will be in for a long season. Go Gators!
