Watson played his arse off but yes he needs to be in a lower pitch count

Can we change his friggan number? 21 for a NT is really driving me crazy

I agree that recruiting some talent on DL for sure is needed. I know Napier is all in on the portal too, wouldn't be a bad avenue to improve with some experienced DL if we can.

Also worth noting styles make fights. Kentucky, UGA, and A&M arguably are the only teams close to Utah in physicality on the schedule.

Tennessee and LSU both are question marks on the LOS right now, although Tennessee's explosive news arguably cancels that out.

I’m driving so can’t post much. My single thought that meant the most. Conditioning. Although tired they stayed tough.

Conditioning was impressive.

The other thing that was noticeable was the noticeably less amount of shite talking after every play compared to the Mullen teams.

Although certain Mullen recruits… still did dumb shite after the whistle.

My biggest concern was the DL, and you could tell that Utah was able to run the ball constantly.

Other than Dexter we have no real talented depth. We can expect heavy dose of run game next week against UK...and if their defense is stout, we can expect a repeat of Utah.

It’s always tough to get a good assessment of a DL vs a moble QB. I’m sure they were trying to stay in controlled gaps more than just pinning ears back n wrecking house.
When they did stunts ect a small lane would open n he was gone.

I’m impressed with the OL, they held their own in pass pro and opened up so good lanes for the backs
Our backs are a strength but their pass pro is a concern
WRs will be a group effort, we really don’t have that stud that’s gonna give ppl fits.
TEs we’re more underutilized than I expected but it’s 1 game

Say what you want about Watson but that dude played 50+ snaps yesterday at 415 lbs.

He played his arse off.

Fully agree

I saw a few plays he was shedding guys n getting in the backfield. Then he did have plays late where he just stood up

Like I said lower his snap count a little so he can be at his best when he’s in
