This. Kelly did this in the NFL too. HE signed with Tampa and backed out and I believe someone else. He seems pretty shady. I don't think it's fair to blame anyone. We got played here by Kelly. Notice UCLA immediately fired their coach, to prove to Kelly they want him? Used our arse to get the job he wants.
It sucks..he had more upside, but Mullen will be here a lot longer. Don't see him going to the NFL or anything. Also see Mullen as a steady hand who knows how to build, and maintain a program well. Very excited.

According to UCLA Insiders/Boosters he also tried to leverage his unemployment against UCLA when Florida was officially out of the race. He always has these weird hirings where some form of controversy coming along it.
That's why I love the Mullen hire. Gets off the plane with that Gator Chomp? With that ring?
