A win is a win, idgaf if theyre all by 1 point. At the end of the season undefeated is undefeated.

A struggle win is usually due to luck and a poor showing. Whether it be offense or defense.

I don’t want luck. I want to dominate. Winning by 2 touchdowns feels a lot better than 1 point.

Losing by 2 and 1 point without your top players on offense and defense (outside of the lines) and rotating in an almost entirely underclassmen starting roster trumps getting blown out by Vanderbilt at home.

We hit bad luck this year, last two years was rebuilding a losing program. If you want to dominate, shitting on the coaching staff and players isn't the way to do it.

Can't believe we're even having a new coach hunt before things finally seem to be turning around -- especially in recruiting on offense.

While true, the 2006 and 2012 seasons were enjoyable as hell. It's only when it ends in not being a fault that leads to failure. The difference between 06 and 12 and Mac's close wins, is he has very bad losses to teams as well. If we barely lose to Bama, play hard and good vs Michigan, play with a pulse vs FSU. Mac would have the fan base still behind him.

It's that after three years, we still enter the year and get 3 points vs a good team(who is barely ranked now mind you) on offense. That's why the majority is on the side of moving on. Because he just doesn't seem like a guy who can do more than win games he should win, and gets outcoached vs the top dogs.

I see you haven't changed your pov. Even though your boy has called out the AD, after the bowl game, lied about the fans, tarnished the UF brand and hasn't delivered on offense. Mac could pimp you and ATL and you guys would say it's because he loves you. he's got you hooked worse than his wife. Way to pick a coach over your school.Carry on.

Again, you obviously haven't read my posts criticizing Mac for the last month.

Talking strictly football because the off the field stuff this week changes a lot, I dont think the answer to losing two games by a combined 3 points should result in the coach getting fired. your arguments against coach Mac are not logical. You lack perspective and rational thought. You continue this narrative that I'm a Mac supporter like that's being an ISIS supporter or something. Hell yeah im a Mac supporter. He's the head coach of the football program I love, and I want him to be successful while he's at UF. I've been as frustrated as most other Gator fans this year. I've voiced that frustration. The buck stops at the head coach, yes, but there's also factors outside of his control that have contributed to this shitty season. Couple that with some bad luck and a couple of close losses, and look where we are. But by all means, carry on with your schtick that it's a bad thing, as a Florida fan, to support the head coach at Florida.

That is a great point, what would our discussions on this board be like right now had we not lost to LSU by 1 point and TA&M by 2 points and were sitting at 5-1 for the season?

I am sure the Negagators would still be saying that it isn't good enough.

well, if we had won by a field goal on the final drive while still operating with a nonfunctional offense...
