That block from behind...
Kansas is kind of a dirty team from what I've seen.

Rebs QB isn’t anything to write home about

Like I said I didn’t expect them to beat Kansas
I’m not just watching for plays being made but what they are doing to create space and opportunities for their players to make plays

330 comes early and I’m recording the game

Offense looks pretty disorganized so far. Not seeing the creativity I expected and heard about.

But anything is better than another year of Billy's offense. Write the check tonight

They almost had a blocked punt before, punted a ball that was fielded near Kansas' 5 yard line, and got good pressure on that Kansas punt there, which resulted in a penalty against Kansas.
And it seemed like they had the right amount of players on the field during all of those plays. Who is that guy, fricking hire him too!

We need a lot of staff upgrades and if I'm being honest OC isn't my #1, but it's Florida and offense greases the wheels.
Competent special teams is probably more important for sure.

I agree. I know the sample size isn't large, but I am of the opinion currently that HC is probably one of the areas of upgrade we need to be honest.

But barring something crazy, I think we'll have to tough it out at least one more year.

But I don't think our offense is "bad" as is. It's not elite, and it leaves a lot to be desired, mostly because Napier isn't the most inspired play caller, but the concepts mostly seem fine.
I think an OC is important, not only because Napier isn't great at it, but he needs to devote his time to being the HC during game day, rather than being a mediocre OC.

All it would have taken was some sign of progress but we haven't seen that yet.

But after 2 years, I can't say we really do anything particularly well that I could point finger at and say, "well at least we...really well..."
Special Teams are bad. Defense is bad. Offense isn't bad but isn't great either. It definitely leaves a lot to be desired. I'd say recruiting was looking promising but it doesn't seem like Napier can close the big recruits that he went after (except for Lagway and McCray, which is better than nothing but man there were so many decommits). Doesn't work the portal well, etc.
Like, under Muschamp you could say the defense was something Florida was really good at despite the other issues. MacElwain, defense was good (due to Muschamp) and while the East was dogshit he was competent enough to win the division and 10 games (which is not saying much in some ways but it's better than not being able to win it) so that was something to point to, and Mullen had a 2 years of good to elite offense with Trask.
But under Napier I can't say that there's one specific thing that Florida has done really well besides maybe its media team which has put together some good videos and photo shoots for recruits.

I guess I can only point to two things: Montrell and Mertz transfers.
