Gators # 7 In AP and # 8 in Coaches Polls

Usually AP has us lower than the coaches poll. We jumped over Nueter Damsel in AP. We need to win out out and then the stakes at the poker table become high roller. When I fish tournaments I always get in side bet calcuttas and that's where the money is rich. Fishing this weekend and week off during the WLOCP (yes!) Will have to listen to Vandy game on boat radio if played during the day. My next two events pay about 80,000 and then 110,000 with calcuttas for first place.

Congrats and good luck going forward in the tournaments.
It was nice to see us jump ND in the polls. I feel Florida’s Offense has gained some identity for themselves with Trask leading the show. It’s baby steps but I think the run side is getting better if not at least maintaining. The passing has really gotten solidified while Trask is still making boneheaded mistakes and forcing the ball.
The defense is regressing from what I see. While it may not be a fact but it seems that we are allowing teams to run and pass on us. That may be from better quality opponents, injuries, or both. I hope we take the bye week and rest up.
The game in Jacksonville will be big! Both teams top 10 with the winner gaining the edge in the East. Georgia has shown that even with good to great players they are beatable. Their coaching isn’t as good as ours in my opinion which may be my bias.

People need to understand that Zuniga and Greenard are not just pass rushers.
They are our best run stoppers outside of Reese. So of course our run defense looks worse. We are missing two of our three best players against the run. Moon is a good pass rusher but he certainly is not good vs the run and really no other DE is right now.
If they are healthy the defense should look very good.
