Some goobs on the SECR love them some Destin. I like it OK, the water and sand is very nice but I have other favorites for various reasons. Manily, Destin and the area is too crowded.

I'm in Jax so for convenience, I like Hammock Beach in Flagler County because it's close.

Love Cape San Blas the best of the Emerald Coast.

What you like?

Im from Horseshoe Cove so that gets the hometown vote. Cocoa Beach is my fav with Gulf Shores being second.

It used to be called Horseshoe Cove Beach when I grew up there but now its just called Horseshoe Beach. Nice lil spot no one knows about and were trying to keep it that way.

I own a home in Gulf Breeze. I love our local beaches. I mainly set up shop on Navarre beach but occasionally I hit Destin, Panama City or Pensacola.

I would say these beaches are my favorite in Florida but I have never been to the keys.

St. Augustine down to Matanzas Inlet, Hammock to Flagler Pier.
