You want an apology for being against the Gators??? My arse you will get anything from me pal....you should be ashamed of yourself....the girls school is looking for fans right now cause they are jumping ship with all their 4 and 5 star players...idiot.

i'm definitely not against the gators. i wish them the best. i want them to succeed just as much as you guys. but what i've seen in the past doesn't give me much hope of that happening. but i'll be interested in your post game thoughts if we get obliterated this saturday afternoon.

So you to admit and agree that you want to see Florida get obliterated so you can be right.
I can't relate to that way of thinking. It's really incredible.

What you guys fail to see is that class in 2015 you want to throw away are 2 RBs, our best WR, best DE and starters on the OL. So which is it? Who was the HC February 2015?
If anything that proves Straws' point man. He had barely two months to put together a solid class after we fired our coach and went .500 and look what he got.

You want an apology if LSU wins? I'll tell you right now LSU has a 70% chance to win on Saturday. Doesn't mean shite. We'll probably lose to Arkansas too. This isn't a team ready to contend for championships. How about you guys be a little patient? I hate to break it to you, but barring a 3 or 4 win season, Mac's gonna be here for 4-5 years minimum.

Some of you are pathetic. The offense and even the defense at times has looked pedestrian.
McElwain has been at UF for 19 games, 10 of which have been played with the backup QB. He has played in 1 SECCG, and has 2 TOP 20 recruiting classes. This year will be fringe top 10, depending on the finish to the season.
I'm all for getting rid of Summers, he doesn't contribute anything to recruiting, and his OL hasn't developed. Nord is another one that needs to go, once again, brings nothing to the table. If Collins doesn't get the defense playing more consistently and keeps with the shitty personnel decisions (above/below line), his arse can go as well. Would like for UF to look at Mason or Strong.
McElwain isn't A problem right now. Some of you need to pipe down, or your whining, yes I said whining, will be done on the SECR only. It's way too fricking early in McElwain's UF career and this season to be dealing with this shite.
K thanks. Bye.

The incessant bitching and moaning and whining is ridiculous. I understand criticism and it is due sometimes. But calling for a coach to be fired that's been in an SECCG in his only full season shows just how unreasonable and ridiculous some of our "fans" are.

That's unfair. With his starting quarterback, Mac blew Ole Miss the frick out of the water with a Freshman quarterback after Ole Miss beat Alabama.
To be fair Grier was in his second year at Florida last year. But this was a great win.
quote:
Those 14 wins came against 14 teams who won 41% of their games during that span.
I see a similar stat being used a lot. I have talked about it also because it shows that yes Mac is 14-5 as a coach, but he has also benefitted from a pretty easy schedule. When 11 or your wins are from teams that either finished last year under .500 or are currently there you had a favorable schedule and as most Florida fans would say we should beat those teams with a backup QB. Even one of his signature wins last year against UGA was without Chubb and a QB making his first start.
With that being said regardless of who he has played and what the product looks like at times Mac in no way should be on the hot seat as of now. Some of our other coaches may need to be let go however. But he does deserve a little criticism with the way some things have been handled I.E.4 RB rotation and player attitudes at the end of last year and some this year. If we don't show any progress this year with our starting QB back in the rotation and no progress next year then yes. But you need to let him get a chance to get his guys and system in place.
As far as recruiting we had no reason to finish the 2015 recruiting cycle the way we did after firing Muschamp. Mac was able to recover after that debacle and bring in some good players in little amount of time.
As for last year we did a great job at the skill position poaching Cleveland, Franks late in the cycle and stocking our WR bin up. We lost alot of recruits because Callahan whose dad is at IMG (pipeline) couldn't recruit and that was noted by the recruits personally and Callahan was told to pack sand and we brought in Gray. Callahan lost us 4 4 stars last year at least. With that being said IMO we didn't recruit defense well and lost some guys we shouldn't have.
This year we seem to be doing better at defensive recruiting although some are not happy with the star ratings which if you didn't know are still changing. Some of our top players are a concern of getting flipped I.E. Blades getting attacked by his local school the Trojans, Lemons cant stay out of trouble. Recruiting is fluid and always changing direction so I normally I don't give a crap how we are doing until December.

Thank christ. I'm all for dissenting opinions, but there is a lot of straight trolling happening within our own fan base right now.
This is the SECRANT guys, we gotta stick together. Go troll GC if you're bored.

Because they know their opinions will get absolutely destroyed on tRant or Coaching Changes.

I think folks need to have IDs checked at the door cause I wonder if some of the crap posting is coming from Athens, Knoxville or Tallyban...it sure sounds like it.

On the surface making the SECCG is a huge accomplishment... but when you dig deeper and realize that you had USCe, Mizzou and UGA going through coaching changes, which inherently means problems with the program. Then you add having Vanderbilt and Kentucky in the East, the only other program you should expect to win the East was UT and they found a way to crap all over themselves. The East has been God awful the last 10 years. It's pretty sad that we have teams in the East can't beat Mac level teams. The ACC has gotten better than the East in the last decade. Look at this year. Honestly, the only teams that can possibly win the East are UT, UF and UGA and all 3 teams are very flawed at the moment.
The one glaring thing that has cooled me off of McElwain was the way we ended the season. We were awful from the month of November to the end of the season. We struggled with very bad Vanderbilt then USC, we have to go to overtime with Florida Atlantic. Then we get obliterated by FSU, Bama and Michigan. I saw ZERO improvement in any of those games. It was the same plain, vanilla game plan. Mc kept trotting out Treon who by then was shell shocked and a kicker that could not kick. Why didn't he ever change things up? Why keep pounding a round peg in a square hole? Those 6 games were some of the worst I've ever seen in 30 years. Mc had weeks to prepare for Michigan and we looked like a high school team. How did Michigan get so sound in all 3 areas of football and we look so unsound, undisciplined? How did we regress so bad to end the season?
Are we going to improve after November this year? Are we going to be sound, disciplined, headed on an uptick, with momentum going into 2017? If we don't see improvement this year with what we have, we are in big trouble.

You keep saying this shite but you never fricking listen.
What do you expect from Treon Harris behind an offensive line full of freshmen with one upperclassman running back and no goddamn kicker?
Please tell me who you rotate, who you substitute, who you bring in to fix those problems.
