Reminded me of how great a receiver he was.
How good the 1969 team was.
How much I liked Ray Graves and how much I disliked Doug Dickey.
I was 13 in 1969, playing jr high football and asked for number 45, they didn't have it so I wore 43 until high school.

Teamwork. Now let’s get the team to buy in and kick Missouri’s arse Saturday.

What a great story! Alvarez is such a great person.
I would love to know more about the story on why O'Connell brought in Dickey when Graves was a great coach.

If I remember right, Graves was close to retirement and was also the AD. Dickey at the time was highly regarded and played at UF so he split the jobs. Bad choice looking back.
