We very well could drop at least 4 more games.

LSU
UGA
UK
UT

Let’s be real, Mullen is really known for making drastic adjustments. What really makes it worse is that this is probably the best offense we’ve had in years, and it’s all wasted on shitty offense.

I come in here with my cautiously optimistic attitude and have Straws tell me everything is going to be okay. Then we all sit and watch that shite show from yesterday and previous weeks, and I begin to wonder how anyone can believe that we’re anywhere close to a CFP level team.

I don’t really have any blame or ill will towards Mullen because he has righted the ship from the Muschamp/McElwain days, but he’s got to do something about this defense for next season.

We could.

But LSU is actually worse than us most likely. They've played the worst schedule and are 1-2. We have two okay wins at least.

Georgia..not happening without absurd changes.

UK- They lost to Ole Miss and Auburn, and Auburn is not good. So we could lose but even our defense cant make Wilson a decent Qb.

UT..yea a loss currently.

If they make a qb change than yes. Otherwise no, I have seen enough of Gitmo over the years to know that he will be the only QB on the schedule to make our defense look good.

Yeah, our fans seem to be forgetting that pretty much the only team left on the schedule with a good defense is actually Georgia.

Almost every defense in the SEC is looking like dogshit right now, outside of Georgia.

LSU gave up 44 and 45 points to MSST and Missouri.

Missouri gave up 38, 35, 41. (Alabama, LSU, Tennessee)

Arkansas gave up 30 to a terrible Auburn team and 37 to Georgia.

Vanderbilt has given up blowouts to every team but A&M. (A&M had like six turnovers.)

Kentucky gave up 29 to Auburn (again, terrible offense) and 42 to Ole Miss.

Tennessee gave up 27 to SCAR (we gave up 28) and Georgia put up 41.

The rest of the season we have a bunch of bad defenses to feast upon, and outside of Georgia I like our chances to win the games. A&M and Ole Miss are probably the best offenses on the rest of our schedule except for Georgia.

So hopefully we fire Grantham tomorrow and start anew. :sigh:

If TG is still on the sidelines next season its all over. I supported him last year but there's no excuse for us to be this bad on Defense.

Has Dan ever fired a coach or told him to kick rocks?

If he hasn't, he fkn needs to before it costs him his job. Not saying he'll be fired soon but it happens to HCs who refuse to make changes

"1) can we stop with the consistent culture stuff. This ONLY applies to the offensive coaches with dan. Dan cycles DCs regularly. Grantham hadnt been bad enough to fire until now

At miss state he had

Carl Torbush

Manny Diaz

Chris Wilson

Geoff Collons

Manny Diaz (again)

Peter Sirmon

Todd Grantham

From 2010 to 2018. People wrote articles about why miss state keeps cycling DCs. Some were firings others were mutual departures and others were guys doing well enough to move up. Grantham being with Mullen this long is already beating the odds

Grantham hadnt done poorly enough to justify firing until now. He'll be gone soon.

The good ole boys club only applies to offensive coaches with mullen." - Not me, from Reddit.

Rarely. It may be the most frustrating thing about Mullen. He holds to much loyalty, and in football you just cannot do that. I can understand keeping Grantham the first two years, because the overall results were not bad. Now though...unless absurd improvements are made, he will likely be getting a warm seat if Grantham is not gone. UF fans are not patient when an obvious flaw is not taken care of(Doug Ness is a perfect example).

I think LSU, UK, and UT could all be very similar to TAMU where the last team with the ball wins. I think we'll know a lot more about UGA after their Bama game. However, if our O doesn't show up in that game like last year, we are toast.
