Spurrier would get very mad if we only won by 24 and we should have won by 28. Spurrier never liked settling...it is why he is loved. You just knew it was more than a job to him.

Yep QB situation I think both can probably be average SEC QBs but not sure either has the potential to be a top SEC level QB but with our skill players that helps a lot.

Really curious what ends up being the starting O line especially left tackle. FAU I don't think has anyone close to what SEC teams have to test the tackles (NIL quickly gets those G6 guys moved up now if they turn out good). If the tackles struggle at times against FAU we know we will have a huge issue starting with the Auburn game. Hopefully Westphal gets into playing shape quickly so if a change has to be made from the Auburn game forward.

Anything on the 2nd scrimmage? I heard there was a lot of big rushing plays. Not sure if a lot of that was against starters or not. I heard Jones played with the 1s some and had a pick and a fumble. Philo a rushing TD. Didn't hear about any bad stuff with him as far as picks this scrimmage. I can't wait for the season to get here to see what this team really is. My guess is Philo was always going to be the starter but I think Sumrall is the type to make changes if needed later unlike some coaches.

Yep I think he wanted to move past all the talk about QB. He sure talked up Lovett. The one thing that scares me is he has Ugorji starting at RT now. I can't get it out of my head how bad he was getting owned last season and in the spring game. If he does start I hope they worked a mini-miracle with him. I guess people said they haven't been happy with Jones at RT in camp.

Lovett almost has that get off the bus first look now he looks so different. The weight loss appears to be helping him with run blocking as he was nimble enough to handle Kamran James and Jayden Woods to spring Baugh for 2 nice runs to the left side. It's on the Gators Mic'd up with Baugh video showing cuts of a few scrimmage plays. There is also one play where Woods comes flying in past Shanahan and just misses getting Baugh in the backfield but you don't see how that happened. Either they had Woods near Shanahan and he blew him up with a quick speed move or there was movement and confusion on blocking assignments that allowed Woods to fly in there like that.
