Ideally one of the big bodied tight ends can get involved in the passing game on run downs, then we can bring in the faster guys when we want to spread the field. I'm not down on the tight ends that we have, when I look at the offense, IMO that position is the weakest on the offensive side of the ball.

It will never cease to amaze me how poorly Mullen recruited that position after Kyle Pitts' historic season.

Yes that is valid.

I knew Mullen was a garbage recruiter before he was hired (I never wanted him hired to replace Mac. He was actually the one coach on my "Do Not Hire" list).

So I honestly wasn't that surprised with his poor recruiting overall. But the fact that he couldn't leverage Pitts to land a decent TE (not even a stud TE) really baffles me.

My expectations were low, but holy shite I was still disappointed.

At the end of the day, Mullen was just a bad hire.

He set the program back 2-3 years, minimum.

He was a terrible hire. Honestly, imo, the worst possible hire to replace Mac. I HATED that hire, and while I generally like to be proven right, I was disappointed that I was right about that frickin bozo.

Early he showed promise, but his lackadaisical attitude did him in. Muschamp, MacElwain, Mullen. A decade of poor coaching and results. Each had their highs but way too many lows.

If the boys go out and wipe the floor with Arky, I'll be fine with the black jerseys.

They're way better than the Croc Skins, plus they're at least using them to respond to first responders etc.

The cause is noble, could have just worn a patch on the blue jersey. Now that the season has started, not that upset over it, but I will always favor tradition over an alternative.

I love our traditional jerseys, just wish we used orange more this year. I do however always love an alternative jersey once a year whether its a throwback or something different like the all black or gator skin(which was ugly).

I do too.

I do feel like we have been adhering to the traditional jerseys mostly under Napier.

One new alternative or throwback a season is palatable.

An orange jersey combo would have been good for at least one game.

Say what you want to about Brenton Cox. But for sure princely only had the year he had last season because of Cox. Cox was receiving alot of the focus from the O lines last season they could not DOUBLE both those guys so that opened up things for Princely.

I did not even herechis name called at all last night because Utah was Doubling him and no O line is worried about Pyburn and Sapp

Tell Stricklin to raise the 30+ million, to buy out Napier .... and when he does, fire him too. That was the most poorly coached game at UF, possibly ever

I saw that true freshman handle Princely on a few plays. Either that guy is the talent Utah claims he is or Princely isn't as good as we thought he was.

They need to force an OC on him but they will probably wait and do that after the season to appease the fans after we go 5-7 or 6-6.
