So apparently phone calls have been made to Earnest. Plans to hire a new LB coach are underway. Gary Condron has stepped in to make sure that the hire will be made "expediently" unlike the other two defensive hires this off-season.

Hopefully it will be an upgrade, all of our remaining defensive coaches should be looked at closely for replacements.

Eh, there was still an hour between it leaking and Earnest's tweet. Billy should have at least sent out a group text immediately and the situation wouldn't have happened in the first place. Earnest also should have waited a little to see what was going on.

They should hire Cheney. He has preexisting relationships with our coaching staff and the players. Had a year to get some experience. Would be a killer on the trail. He is inexperienced, but you aren't going to get a top guy in at this point with Napier on the hot seat, whoever it is will have a couple downsides.

All true, Napier was slow on the trigger as usual and EG jumped the gun a little. Feathers were ruffled but shaken out.
