Any weight behind this or just saying cause you are hoping? Cause I really, really want Smith. Most wanted kid in this class because his father was the reason I became a Gator fan as a kid when I moved here(was my favorite player as a kid). Would be amazing to see his kid in a Gator uniform.

Smith is looking more likely now with Stanfords coach rumored to the NFL and most of their o line transfering.

Yea I'm seeing it too. I will try to not get my hopes up on it yet. Don't want to be disappointed in losing him.
If we land him(or Bowman of course I'd be okay with that switch
), and get a few more of the big names we are after this will be a very strong class.

Hate to do this to you, but higdon changed his tune on Ej today. Said that he committed to the staff during the in home and waivered on it today.

I feel like EJ is just enjoying the process and trying to drum up some interest.
If it's between where his pa' broke records and another school as the final two, he almost assuredly will come to Florida.
I just can't think that he would snub UF if we're in it until the end. A few weeks ago I didn't even feel like we were in it so I said alright, onto the next guy. Now that he's hinting at coming to Florida I think he will likely end up a Gator.

Yes, Emmit is much too classy to let his son play games with UF. However, he is also very committed to an education, which Stanford might just edge out UF in the end.

As cool as it would be to get EJ, I feel like he would be a bust just like Kelvin Taylor was. And I’ve never seen him play.

Taylor wasn't a bust but had a terrible coaching staff that somewhat held him back. To assume Smith is as well because Taylor was is absolutely ridiculous though...especially without watching any tape. That makes no sense bro.
