Elam's pretty much a done deal unless Kirby pulls a stunt and Elam is extremely myopic.
DL, I don't know. Mullen has finished pretty strong, that seems to be his MO for the most part, we'll just have to wait.
If you're saying Canes Insider, it's not just him -- tons of people are saying that he's going to UF and they're blaming it on us dropping bags.

A lot of Palm Beach County people that know the Elams (insiders) have said that Kaiir was a Gator unless UF completely fricked it up.
Abe was going to have his son go through the process so they could make the best decision in the end.

This has been my thinking all along. It makes way too much sense for a smart family to send their kid to a top athletic and academic institution in-state.
And that's not just UF homerism, I would expect the in-state option to win out if they lived in Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Georgia, or California.

This class isn't insane but I really like it overall.
We got seven offensive line guys and Oline is not a five star needed position. Can have an elite line with three stars(see Wisconsin type teams).
Loaded up on line backers and Summer all could be an elite pass rusher. So really four linebackers all top 250 in the group.
WR recruiting a bit puzzling. Seems we have a few "we did we go for him" here. We will see. Landing the surprise recruit here is nice though.
RB we got a change of pace from the current back field. Like him.
QB while not highly rated Jones has some inpressive speed. Seems lower rated than he should be
Elam and Steele if we grab Elam will be an evil 1-2 punch.
Would be nice to finish with MAR, Moore, and Elam. Really ends a strong class that isn't just grabbing any high rated kid, but is filling holes in our depth. Very happy.

Sad to see Henry Gray already got his Miami decommit out of the way. Better when they wait until summer. Hope we can nudge our way into contention there.

Bowman has kept a steady stream of UF predictions.
All 3 of the 247 guys have Beck flipping to UF. Wonder what direction Bama would go without him.

Beck wants to play Baseball I think, as well, so it's probably nice to have him on the team working on both sports -- especially with this type of offense. We won't be lucky to escape another year with zero injuries at QB since this offense requires that the QB run a lot more than we have been.

Bowman would be such a massive land. We haven't had many five star Rbs(achoo Kelvin). Would be nice to get a stud RB for the future. Jones and Bowman could be a very nasty backfield for us in the future.
