4th in the SEC, 3rd in total player average (90.26). We'll pick up some surprises too now that we have a QB. Hope we finish real strong.

LB is our biggest need and some bonafide WRs who aren't afraid of contact and will get open down field. Jefferson is more important than most realize.
The group I wanna see perform well is the return/coverage units on special teams. Returns help the offense and coverage helps the defense. 2017 was awful, Fast Eddie and Tommy T could have really helped us if the other aspects of special teams did their part.

I am really shocked this staff is doing a really nice nod so far have to give them credit working really hard and it is paying off.

And this isnt counting Van who transferred. Mullen and Co have been doing a very good job on limited time getting these kids to buy in. I cant wait to see the staff fill out and what they can do on the trail
I dont see Skipper sticking around, he's been really quiet lately. We get Wilson on the DL and we will land the big man Noah imo.

We re going to be a multiple defense this year as we transition into a 3-4, Id look for guys like Z,Polite and Clayton along with the Fr Reese to be rush backers

That's the thing. We had very short time to build with some of these kids. So it's really good to see us win big battles early. We have a pretty strong recruiting group now. I hope the DLine coach can recruit I know Grantham isn't insanely known for it but our DB coach is.
See how the staff pans out. So far all have been improvements over the last coach which is quite awesome. No real question marks. Really happy about it.

That they are. Obviously this class won't be insanely impressive overall, just so little time to do it especially wit ha lot of kids already signing with coaches they had big commits from. We still have one of the best overall classes in the SEC despite that. And have landed six kids our staff went out and got on their own(two JUCO's). Really positive sign for the future.

If we can lure Copeland back with NPF and Barnes that would be a solid haul for the offense.

Meyer confirmed yesterday that wide receiver Trevon Grimes is taking a leave of absencefrom the football team as the unidentified family member continues to deal with the unspecified health issue. The Buckeyes head coach said the sabbatical the freshman is taking is indefinite, although it’s thought that Grimes will return to the university in the spring.
