There were still some close games this week with teams that should have been overmatched. I hope the team can focus on North Texas so we can get the starters out by the 3rd quarter and get them rested for the following week.

One shitty thing about this schedule is having our first real road start being in knoxville. They better be working on silent count and have those speakers blaring noise all practice for the next two weeks.

Its the defense that would win the UT game and most SEC games...offense is just window dressing...we need it but the defense is what wins games in the long run.

I know we have UNT next week, and given our recent tendency to play down, I'm not assuming that will be a blow out, though it should be.

But jumping ahead a game, I think if our D makes Dobbs have to lean on his arm rather than his legs and our O can approach this level of efficiency, we'll win the Battle of the Erector Set pretty handily.

The only problem with big road games is having a miscue get intensified by the home crowd and they can get the Mojo to work against us by firing up the players and they play much harder. As long as we can make the home crowd sit on their hands for long periods...a mild uprising can be quashed.

Tennessee has been making their living off of their opponents fricking up.

UF has to play smart and take care of the ball in Knoxvegas.

WE kinda benefited from that a lot last year.

I still think we lose in Knoxville at this point.

No idea how Del Rio will react to being on the road for the first time.

Same with the young RBs and WRs.

Coach just said in his presser that Calloway is hurt? Anyone have any other update? He needs to be healthy for our offense to really click.

He hurt his quad I think.

I don't think it's too serious because Callaway played the whole game until the starters came out.

I think they sit him vs. North Texas as a precaution for him to get healthy before Tennessee.

Okay hopefully it isn't too serious. I know we have more depth than last year but god we are still so thin at some of our positions every injury makes me nervous.

We looked pretty good Saturday night, much better than this time last year.

I'm just hoping Callaway gets healthy next week.
