Georgia came out guns blazing, throwing all over the field, getting runners on the edges, and breaking tendencies with new wrinkles put in for the game. Then they did what we've done so many times in the 4th quarter and started calling plays not to lose only to see the other team get back in the game and beat them. I'd say they should make their OC walk home for the game he called in the 4th quarter, but Athens is too close to Atlanta.

That and they found our weak link and broke it all night.

What an awesome game from start to end.
Half time show was great too.
And always enjoy a game done by Herbie and Fowler.
The way that freshman came in to win it was like a movie.
The last 3 years have been great national title games.
Although them ending around 12:30 is getting annoying.
Whatever I'm young, Only need like 3-4 hours of sleep anyway.

This is the furthest from the truth.
Alabama vs Clemson 1 was not even a good game. It was a bloodbath! And the real team won. Besides Clemson got that record by feasting off cupcake teams in the A She She. They did not deserve to be there as that was shown when Alabama trounced them.
and then you have Alabama Clemson 2 aka Pick play national title.
Not 1, not 2, but 3 Pick Plays lead to that title game! That game has a huge asterisk for the pick plays and illegal plays in the game and take those away Bama wins it handedly.
This game was great although it showed that Clemson wasn't even close to deserving of being there as they were absolutely SMOKED by the best team in the country. shite I would have put Wisconsin, OSU, UCF and Auburn ahead of the taters in that spot. You shouldn't be in the playoff if you lose to Syracuse!

Growing up in Augusta, I had my fair share of disdain for UGA. However, the mutual hatred of Clemson on tRant has made the vast majority of that subside. What last night did prove was that Clemson got steam rolled by a team that was a shell of its true potential.

They are our brethren, and we back them up as they back us up. All very good people.
Last night did prove that Clemson is not a top 10 team.
Quite frankly if not for the pick 6 which we handed them, and then those 3 penalty calls on us which were clearly not, we would have beaten them

amazing what 7 officials "see" and "don't see" over the course of a game on any given play.
