Are you going by what Heath Kline is putting out or are you hearing it somewhere else? Because I am sitting here with very connected people and everyone is making calls and no one is getting a straight answer .... all we're hearing is "Heath Kline is tweeting ...."

Alright, well, we're talking to some of our people still in Atlanta that were box seat reps for us down there today ... they're still at the party with SEC people and reps from other schools ... plus we finally got through to some other people, and yeah ... looks like the Cap One Bowl. shite. Mizzou guaranteed to sell the complete allotment, we didn't think we could for some reason and having to make up the rest would have been too expensive ... we're tricked. Going back to Cap One evidently. I talked to one friend in particular and he said he's already been toldto cancel his Christmas vacation plans. I'm headed back downstairs to the party ... the fat lady has eevidently sung. Good night.

Doesn't the Cap 1 pick first? Surely they know we won't get close to selling out our allotment if we go to the Cap 1 again.

FWIW, and I'm pretty liquored-up right now, but we were all just told that the team is making reservations for the Radisson in Orlando ... at least I think they said Radisson, I know it started with an R. Everyone at this party is scrambling to make reservations where the team is staying ... place is laughing while everyone are on their phones and making calls to get booked before the official announcement in the morning ... again, FWIW. The way things havegone this past week, who the hell knows.

They probably took a peak at the attendance in the Georgia Dome today and said frick that.

If Mizzou couldn't travel well for the SECCG I doubt theyd travel well for the Cap 1 bowl

Cap One doesn't have the allotment commitment that the Cotton has. What is it, 15k, maybe upped to 17.5 this year? Cotton wanted 25 guaranteed and it is already sold out with that commitment if that is truly what Mizzou agreed to ... who knows. Seems crazy to all of us here but who knows.

All I know is I was desperately looking forward to going to the Cotton, so this turn of events today is a little disappointing. Spending New Years with the mouse again isn't ideal, but will make the most of it.

TIFWIW I was just told from a friend who is a trainer that we are headed to the Cap One, but he said we still have a shot at the Cotton its about 80/20 respectively. I am a student at USC FWIW.

You would think the Cap One has seen and heard the voice of the Gamecock faithful via social media, and would have taken the hint the fans want the Cotton but I guess not.

I didn't watch much of the games this evening, but I just read the box scores and saw some highlights. I think we move up in the poles or stay the same if Mich St jumps us. Anywhere from 6th-8th is reasonable, probably at 7th. We will be ranked ahead of Mizz, and that's going to put us in the Cap One.

I'm happy about that, I can do the Disney thing with the kids. It'll be a nice trip. Much better than Tampa. I go to Dallas enough that it's not that exciting anyways, except for the stadium. San Antonio is a much better city, Riverwalk is nice and you can walk to the Alamo. .

I kept saying I'd believe the Cotton Bowl when I see it. But then the rumors about us going kept coming out so I finally bought into it and got excited for.

I must say I'm kinda pissed about this now. Should have continued on being the skeptic

What makes the Cotton Bowl think that Mizzou will sell their allotment better than us? They barely even showed up in ATL

That and Mizzou cited a large booster contingent in the DFW area plus the Cotton is going to claim a high level of excitement among the Mizzou fan base heading into the bowl season.
