Can we all admit this shite had nothing to do with hookers? In this day and age I assume everyone with any semblance of authority or power is getting strange on the side. IMO there was a list a mile long of shite that they got caught with and this was the reason that was decided to be the lesser of all of those evils. What say you?

Oh, I don't think it was the one call that did him in. No, they found something when they started looking at all his phone calls. You are right, they did a little digging and found a whole mess of stuff.

People that go to church need it.
They're conscience eats them up without some entity to take away their guilt.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was some sort of homosexual pedo stuff and the escort service was a coping mechanism to reestablish some male bravado because "god hates gays" type of southern baptist mentality.

This situation is why hiring the right guy is so important. Winning can cloud an AD or President's judgement when they are trying to find the best fit for their school. Character and integrity sometimes can get lost in the shuffle and a decision is made without weighing future consequences.

In this day and age if you are going to cheat then you need to hire someone so devious they make Putin seem like Papa Smurf. With twitter and cell phones old school cheating is going to get caught sooner or later.
Hire a good coach who won't cut corners. They are hard to find but that is why an AD is making enough money they don't have to worry about being on food stamps. It takes longer to get results that way and you might never quite get there... but at least you are spared your university becoming the laughing stock of college sports and you won't see your team savaged by NCAA sanctions.

I know. Zero Division championships. Forfeited wins likely. Almost certainly sanctions that will prevent Ole Miss from being competitive for a decade. If not longer.
For a couple of big bowl games and two wins over Alabama.
We have a long losing streak against Bama and I'd love to beat them... but watching the program go into the toilet just to do that? I'd like to spend the next decade of my life not watching my team struggle to reach 6-6 on the season thank you.
