Holy crap, this is why I stopped reading their articles and posting on gogameocks.com...

Dude, has Wily Korn and Shon Carson ranked ahead of Lattimore and Meat Summers as Overall #1.

https://www.thestate.com/2013/12/21/3171616/the-greatest-150-south-carolina.html

1. DEMETRIS SUMMERS, LEXINGTON RB

This selection will cause the most debate, but the bottom line is, Summers was a lethal offensive weapon. He set national records from 1999-2002, and is still ranked among the best nationally. He compiled a four-year varsity career of 9,076 yards rushing and 120 touchdowns, while seldom playing the whole game. His rushing yards and TDs still rank 13 nationally all-time.

2. FREDDIE SOLOMON, SUMTER WR

3. JADEVEON CLOWNEY, SOUTH POINTE DE

4. PERRY CUDA, SUMMERVILLE QB

5. A.J. GREEN, SUMMERVILLE WR

6. JUSTIN WORLEY, NORTHWESTERN QB

7. STEVEN DAVIS, SPARTANBURG RB

8. BOBBY ENGRAM, CAMDEN WR

9. STAN MANNING, DILLON RB

10. JAMES “J.C.” CAROLINE, BOOKER T. WASHINGTON RB

and holy shite, Justin Worley at #6,,

I could get behind ranking Summers number one just because he was so good a Lexington.

I guess thats why Worley is number 6 but I'm can't help but

Yeah, that's a horrible list. Who compiled that, from where did they get their input?

I have no idea, but whoever would put Worley ahead of Stephen Davis is a f**king moron.

Glad to see Tracy McGriff from Lancaster make the list. I was just a kid when he played in the early 1990's, but he was unstoppable for the Bruins. Recruited to play for Bobby Bowden at FSU (among other schools), but never had the grades to get in school. Went the JUCO route to Mississippi and just never got it together academically. Tracy was the perfect combination of size and speed, and he would have made either a great RB or LB at the next level. I see him around town sometimes, and I always wonder what could have been with him.

List has some ridiculous omissions and the top 10 is kinda crazy. Outside of the top 10 the list is alphabetical though so Lattimore isn't behind those others!
