I desperately want him to stay. He is everything that we have been missing at UGA. At the same time, he's too aggressive when he's working behind the scenes to get stuff done. A lot of us would have been happy to have him replace Richt but in a few years.

Sounds like Tom Herman is a great liar. He's dodging and ducking every way imaginable on direct questions about that UH extension.
Why not just lay all the speculation to rest and say you're frickin' staying at UH if that's what you plan to do?

Where, exactly, are they drawing hope from in that statement? The dates given haven't even occurred yet to know if Herman actually inks the deal with UH.
If Herman was 100% staying put he would have already signed the extension papers. He has worded everything very carefully, obviously there is still something out there he is waiting on or he wouldn't wait until next week to sign the papers. Also possible he is using it as leverage to get more money from teams pursuing him.

They haven't made them remove anything with that kind of lightening fast speed yet.
