Still just words at this point. But the idea that you buy a coach and their proven system just doesn't work in today's game. I like the thought process, and will be interested to see what they put together.

Lane Kiffen's system worked immediately with a less talented team than we have.

Jamey Chadwell's system would have immediately taken advantage of the personel we currently have and been an immediate improvement.

Dickfaces system has turned around Clemsons entire program overnight.

Nick Saban bought Sarkisian and Kiffens systems and won natty's also overnight.

LSU bought a staff and a system and also won a Natty overnight.

This just in from the Channel 6 Newsroom. We're fricked, again. Beamer has been a mediocre lifetime position coach for a reason. Because he doesn't actually know shite about coaching.

Just out of curiosity... who all was/is beating down Chadwell's door to hire them as their next HC?

Well first it was Charleston Southern. After he immediately made them a winner it was Coastal Carolina. Which he also immediately made a winner. Standby and we'll see who does it next. While we wait, we can enjoy watching Beamer do exactly what he knows how to do, NOT A frickING THING.

Or if you'd like I can answer your question with a question. "Just out of curiosity... who all was/is beating down Shane Beamers door to hire them as their next HC?"?

Oh I know, no fricking body. His best years were as nothing but a recruiter, here and when our state probably had the most talent in its history.

That’s a valid question, and I’m not crazy about Beamer.

Maybe SC will be for Beamer what CSU was for Chadwell. I also think being a HC here is not as attractive as some might think.

Everybody starts somewhere.

Well this is proven at this point. It's an SEC job, so there are only 14. But it's not a good one. You have UGA/UF/ Clemson every year. Lots of coaches would say F that. No one wanted it in 2015. No one wanted it in 20.

The job is what it is at this point. Bottom- tier SEC job, with highish expectations, good resources, but a murderous schedule. Retreads and unknowns are all you're going to get here.

And that’s before we even talk about our incompetent leadership with the AD and BOT.

Its really not rocket science, well it is for Retard Tanner. All you have to do to be competitive here is hire an offensive minded coach. Nothing else works and it never will. Why? Because a fantastic play caller hides inadequacies.

This would have been cool. All our QBs minus Gauthier seem like a good fit for some version of Lincoln Riley’s offense. However our OL is built more for the run game right now and our WRs are pretty shitty.
