I agree due to the new rule on how many can sign a NLI why take a chance on a kid that will , most likely, be drafted by MLB in the first 2 rounds.

I'm all for having fun in college. Lord knows I had mine. But I also wasn't on scholly to play big time football. Hope he doesn't let five points get to him.

I'll get to see him play again this year at least once.

I suspect our coaches will sort of take control and make sure he walks the line for the next 18 months. He'll be ship shape between now and then and he evidently grew-up a Gamecock fan so hopefully no one will be able to poach him between now and then but they are gonna try.

Kid grew up a Clemson fan but they have yet to offer and he took that as a slight since they were showing him zero attention.

Now that that's clarified it was further clarified to me tonight that his parents would not dismiss a Clemson offer because evidently they are Clemson people big time ... BUT, even they are saying he is not going to entertain any other offers and he's going to be attending our camps and ballgameS.

Also, I was told this. Someone from Clemson reached out to him today (or yesterday I guess actually) and asked him how solid his commit to us is and what if he came up for a visit yada yada and Doty told them thanks but no thanks. Then something about Renfro? something or other but the storm was quailing us and we lost power and didn't have a good connection so that was the end of the conversation.

And I know the name rings a bell but I cannot figure out who Renfro is ... Renfro?

So you can look at someone and tell that they party? If you don't know for sure then you need to stfu. To call out a kid because he looks a certain way is freaking immature as hell.

I would say that for anyone. To make accusations like that is called defamation of character. It's just stupid to make that comment about a Gamecock recruit . Like I said if you don't have proof then stfu.

If for some odd reason its true, it worked for Johnny Manziel. Maybe it works for us. Also, I don't see Muschamp putting up with that shite like Spurrier did.

Hey I asked about this tonight while I was being corrected (and I corrected an earlier post about Doty but was calling to ask about this when I was set straight) and ... the kid is not a partier at all. He's free wheeling happy go lucky typical teenage kid. Makes good grades. Doesn't let the girls get to him ... and evidently they are crawling on him. Comes from a good family (Clemson people, where I misheard and made my earlier mistake and was corrected) and he works hard, has a summer job, coaches and teachers love him. No history of discipline problems whatsoever.
