We need to get a 2020 thread going.

We do need one.
Apparently our staff kinda lost touch with him and he felt sort of forgotten. He was one of our first committments for the '20 class and seemed firm in his committment. Long way to go for that '20 class so I'm not really all that concerned but I do hate that he felt as if he was no longer important to us.

I'd say it was mutual. He hasn't visited here since his commitment, but has been to games at Auburn, Florida, and Tater Tech. He's also had a pretty crappy season from a performance and development standpoint.

He didn't have a great season and we did get distant. Wish the kid luck.

CB's picked up yesterday for:
Xavier Legette
Jakai Moore
John Dixon
Jammie Robinson
Jalen Perry
Also, bad news regarding RB target Tahj Gary. He broke his femur (unsure of which leg) last night and required surgery.

Latest cb's are now going to michigan for perry.
We brought in dawuan watts, ucf committ, for a visit saturday.
3 star 6'1" runs 4.4. Great measureables but needs coaching.
I don't understand this. Our hc and dc are widely known as great db coaches and looking at our guys coming back there is instant playing time so why are we failing at recruiting db? We have gone from a starter next year, dj daniel, to a possible project replacement that may take a couple of years to be ready. Not looking good

Kind of perplexing for sure. A HC and DC known for placing guys in the NFL and we're recruiting much stronger on the offensive side of the ball. I'm not worried yet. Saw a lot of raw talent last night out of the freshmen. We still have a strong recruiting class coming in even with the losses or loss of interest. I'll panic after next year if there isn't an extremely noticeable improvement on defense. If Muschamp doesn't have this program in the top 10-15 in 2020, I will officially be off of the Champ train, tho.

Shouldn't judge this class until we are complete. Since Champ has been here, he has pulled in some last minute steals.

He has done just that but throwing out offers, this late in the game, to lower ranked players is concerning.

Watts just decommited from ucf.

Your boy Iron (: is saying UGA and Aub are showing interest in the Watts kid too. Maybe he's just getting noticed? I trust Champ and T Rob when it comes to DB's. They know talent and can develop players.

Iron should change his name to doomsday lol
We just offered dj williams a 3star rb currently committed to app state.
So we are trying to poach a db from ucf ( just decommited) and a rb from Appalachian State.

Wiltfong just cb Watts to us. Sounds like a done deal to me. Great measureables with height and speed. T-rob and Boom can teach technique.

The RB has received some big offers just recently. Might be similar to Watts, had a big senior season, and just started to get noticed.

This dude travels from board to board with depressing news. Should change his name to the grim reaper.

There must be balance in the world so I figure Iron is opposite of Ace.

Perry just committed to michigan. Hope we can flip Hill from florida.

That sucks. Our guys are working Hill hard and I am slightly encouraged he visited Saturday. Some Gator fans were all up in his replies about being at our game and let's just say they weren't very pleased and expressed their displeasure rather boldly to him.

We're going to finish fine this year.

We are losing out on our top choices and having to try and flip 3 stars from small schools. Does not sound fine to me especially when your hc and dc are supposed to be two of the best secondary coaches in the country but can't get a commitment from any of our top choices. We are trying to flip Hill from florida but he tore his acl, oh and we are trying to flip gary, a vt running back committ, who broke his leg.
Things look just peachy.
