It's my understanding that he has shut down playing until jan 5th at the aa game, which is when he will announce. He only played in 1 game this season I believe. It's possible he has shut down both playing and his recruitment I suppose.

I read it as him shutting down his season not recruiting. Although I do think he will end up at Clemsun playing defense. As far as Ryan, I think we have no worries. He has been upfront with our coaches during the whole process. Stanford would have been a big challenge if they had offered earlier but I think we are good. I just hope our fans don't show their asses if Jake struggles. Not a good look no matter how you spin it.

Looks like Chris Steele has decommitted from Southern Cal. Surprising. Would love to have him but I'm thinking Florida.

Agree on Crouch. Some of our fans will get XT'd despite all the warnings. If we can't have Steele, hope he ends up somewhere besides the SEC. Would hate if he ended up at Fla.

Hate to keep harping on XT, but he even fooled a couple of our coaches. I heard straight from them that he was a heavy lean to us, and they thought we had him.
I do agree on Crouch to Clemson. They want him at LB or to bulk up and play DE.

Sounds like Steele ($teele) didn't part ways with $oCal, they parted ways with him if this holds true.

Don't think we are in play anyway but if so, we need to move on. You know if he committed to us, he would be declared ineligible by the NCAA.

Rumor of Holley having off field issues and we may go another route also Mecose Todd visited the tators lastvweekend. TM, in all his wisdom, doesn't think Todd will be part of our 2020 class.

Hilinski was a planned announcement sometime today, I expect it to be along the lines of reaffirming his committmentto SC on hopefully some other guys visiting with him this weekend.
